The workers are literally Karens. I believed the memes were fake, but they are real. The lady in the front has a fart face that stresses you out. They believe they are the owners of the gym.

I love this gym! They have the best staff hands down! Always make me feel welcomed and like I'm apart of a family. Thanks to nick, Crystal, Karla, Alejandra, Avril, and last but not least Sean! You guys are wonderful

Nick is an awesome manager! Very personable, nice, and just cares about his facility. The place is always so clean. Great value for the price of a gym membership.

The gym is clean, and the staff here at great. It's convenient location is a plus and of course it's affordability.wish I had joined years ago and ditched my old gym earlier

Not enough machines at this location. Seems like everyone works chest Monday, arms Tuesday, and back Wednesday.so, plan accordingly.

This is a good size gym. It does get a little busy and the meter on the app is never accurate but it's still layed out pretty well with plenty of space. If you're thinking about joining and you think $25 is too much just realize that you will feel at least $30 better so it's worth it. Do yourself a favor and add the gym to your routine, add this gym to your routine.

UPDATES DECEMBER 29.2023: I had to add a couple of updates, especially since now they are offering classes again. I had a "Design your own Program class" yesterday and kudos to Sean for being an amazing Trainercaring, patient, and knowledgeable. This morning, I had the PF360 strength exercise, and then I did cardio. I recommend signing up for the classes, especially if you are not too familiar with the machines or what exercise you should do. The team will assist you in choosing what is right for you.
*********************************************From my experience, I know they took longer time to open, and maybe did not communicate well with their clients. However, I am rating the club today. It is clean, friendly staff. I will be attending an orientation class and a design of your own program class, and I will keep you updated on how it goes. For my first time coming into the Otay Ranch club location today, I am rating 5 stars for cleanliness and friendly staff
UPDATED JUNE 22,2023. I have been a member for a while. After COVID they changed their operation hours so check their sites before heading out and they don't offer the tour guided classes on how to use the machines and all these classes they used to offer when they first opened. But it is clean and spacious and a good place to exercise.

Planet fit took the 40$ future yearly membership although I called to cancel on the 1st of December and the 2nd of December
This place is a total Ripoff.buyer and customer beware of their bogus business unfriendly practices, They also wanted to keep me a client for another year, hahahah! Are you kidding me?
I am a member of a better Fitness place, way better and way more advanced by all means than Planet Fitness.

I have been at the gym for two weeks, and the staff leaves a lot to be desired, the discs thrown everywhere, the gym trainers are not in charge of organizing the equipment and how people leave them, dumbbells thrown all over the gym, it has Very good food but every time I ask for something (kindly) they never seem to like it, a super rude girl went to tell me that the bikes couldn't be used if there was no class (they never told me when I signed up). They have the potential to be a good and pleasant gym to go to but I think in general the staff is the problem.

Clean and large enough for a complete work out with no interpretation. People are mellow and friendly

This has happened a few times now and needs to be addressed. I took this picture at 5: 15 AM and there is no one here from the staff to open the gym. I finally ended up leaving at 5: 30 am. There’s a long line forming outside of the gym with people quickly getting tired of waiting. If you’re choosing this gym to have 5 am workouts then I’d probably go elsewhere since you can’t guarantee that you will get a workout in when you purposely got up early. Most of us want to start our day with a workout but apparently you can’t guarantee you’ll be able to workout since hours of operation are not consistent. No use calling security because you’re just sent to voicemail. Disappointing.

Their system is ridiculous I call to cancel the membership and say that I have to go there personally and when I went they didn’t want to cancel my membership and told me to add a different card if I didn’t want to get charged and so I gave the membership to my boyfriend and told him to put his own card information so they would stop charging me and he did. I still keep getting charged this is so ridiculous, literally stealing my money and hundreds of money going to waste.

I liked this gym at first. But now its become the hang out spot for lots of kids who dont know how to use the equipment and goof off. Not to mention the constant phone use while using the equipment. If you go to the gym, go for its intended purpose NOT to watch your shows and look on social media. There are lots of people waiting to use the equipment, be curteous. Very frustrating and annoying. Will be looking for another gym. Planet fitness clearly doesn't impose their "strict" no cell phose use policy nor their "lunking" policies.

Love this place, wish it were my home club! The ambiance us perfect, they have all the machines I need. Employees are very nice and helpful.

Clean, friendly place. The machines are in good condition. The crowd is cool friendly I met a few people that are regulars.

LOVE it here. Clean, professional staff, courteous, loads of equipment, everything you could ever want in a gym, clean bathrooms. Love it! Only thing I could wish for is a large room where they conduct classes. Used to have that in the Oceanside PF. That was fun having all those classes to choose from! And I would prefer the overhead music not be SO loud.
