Plants of Joy - Nursery Valley Center, California

Just bought 5 trees from them today. Very affordable, and of the highest quality. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our experience so much we are going back on Sunday for more trees!

Seller is extremely motivated and ready to sell. Plants are gorgeous and well worth the trip.

I order my succulents through her instagram pages and they are gorgeous. I know Joy and her team always does their best to ship out when the clients are ready. I'm happy with my purchases even if its long sometimes. Her plants do not disappoint.

We had the best experience and Sunday afternoon with Aurora, she really was a JOY to be with.the arrangements she helped us make were beautiful!

Surprisingly to see it’s a real store and has relatively good reviews. Because how it handled online and telephone orders is really like a scam.

So apparently they try to sell plants on Facebook marketplace as a registered name of Aurora Hunter who have dozens of posts marked from a few different locations: Escondido, Carlsbad and valley center. I responded to the Escondido ones coz its closer for me to pick up.however, i was told they moved and now i have to pick up in valley center. Yet till today, they still have posts from all locations - shouldn’t you post your new location?

We talked on the phone, agreed on the items i would buy and she would ship for me. She said she will go grab my items immediately, so I paid her on the phone immediately.that was 12/18/2023. It's near one month, I still haven't received my order nor any updates about shipping!

In between she called me again asking me if I want to buy more items I said no I want to try my first order first because I bought seven items in my first order.

Then, one week later, she still hasn't sent shipped to my order saying my order had been rained on.another week later I had to contact her again asking her about my order. She said my order has been stuck and she doesn't know the reason why! What? ! I said it's been over three weeks. She said good good - what? ! She said she will ship my items that day she will make sure my items go out that day and send me a tracking number asking me to follow up with her on Facebook again. So I did. I sent a text to her posts which i had items to buy. I said if you cannot fulfill my order it is fine with me just refund me.instead of responding to me, she turned her posts all in “no longer available”. In one week later as of today, I still haven’t heard back from her. No shipping updates no tracking number. Is this a decent way doing business? Are you going to just ignore my order without refunding me?

Went to this super cute plant shop today and came home with a really great plant! So happy we decided to stop by. So many great big and small plants to choose from. The owner is super sweet and has a genuine love of plants. Will come back again!

Amazing nursery-great selection of plants for a great price! The owner, Joy, is very welcoming, and walked us through and explained about each plant.

Found them on Instagram. Quick and easy purchases of great assortment of succulents. Arrived promptly and packed carefully. Good prices on TLC and propagation sets.

Joy is the best if you get a chance to talk to her she is so helpful and finds you the succulents you’re looking for.

12/2023 still buying more plants-Thank you so much the plants in the box were definitely more than I should’ve had and although it took some time to get them I’m very appreciative of them. Guessing you substituted some because I didn’t find some that I expected. It’s ok I’m going to wait for the latest order and then see if there’s something I still want.

Joy is wonderful to work with, her arrangements are beautiful, and her prices are so reasonable! I placed a custom order for some plants I’ve had a really hard time finding, and she picked them up from her grower for me. Highly recommend!

I found Plants of Joy via Facebook marketplace. She worked with me to fulfill every plant need I had (type, size, available date) and will even deliver them straight to my door (can’t fit an 8’ indoor tree in my small car!)
Communication was a breeze, prices were reasonable, and the selection was unreal. I will definitely be back!

A great place for cool succulents and plants! I stopped by the store to get a gift for a family member and the trip was a big success. Lots of variety of house plants and succulents, and the owner Joy was super sweet!
