Plato's Closet San Jose reviews
15Don’t even waste your time or gas. I took in two small bags of clothes that was brand new or barely worn, they told me the wait would be about 4 hours. I waited 4 hours just for them to tell me they only got one item, and gave me $3 for it. They’re so picky.
Whole group of us mobbed in minutes before closing, Isaiah welcomed us in with open arms and hooked us all up with clothes. Even allowed us to add songs to the store playlist. Most lit Plato’s closet in all of the South Bay.
Best Plato’s the staff were so nice and they had 5 dollars bins. I sold clothes they took the most random selection of clothes and left all my Lululemon/ free people items which were in excellent condition and gave me 50 bucks.
Honestly the best PC I’ve ever been to. Of the 5 in my hometown and the many I’ve been to on vacations, this one had the nicest workers, best selection, and best music. Will 100% be stopping back when I’m in town next.
First time going to this store today…Myself and my twins had a blast. The store the employees such a vibe. So helpful and ready for any questions. Definitely coming back. Check them out guys, also sign up for there text messages. That how I knew they had a fat sale today
Went in to get rid of some clothes to clear out my storage and they were super fast in going thru clothes howeer offer was not the best for th items I had 2 were with tags new NFL pathers and cowboys apparel and a lightly used coogi long sleeve I got literally 13.00 offered (each shirt brand new retails 20 plus) andthe coogi is a luxury Brand it was like. A insult 13.00 but I neededth money so i basically took it.definitely won't be going there again I understand you need to make money but 13.00 for 2 Brand new items crazy.let's not start on the merchandise they take in adselk like old sweaters no branded t-shirts asking way too much they are not the place to shop
Came on Saturday 4pm to sell my clothes, spent half an hour to get there and they said that they had already closed the selling corner.
Took a bag of gently used clothes from good brands. They didn’t explain the process of choosing the items even though it was my first time. Said it would be 20 min to review and choose so I went out to my car, not even 2 min later my clothes were ready. They only bought 1 ITEM for $3.60. Seriously wasted my time and thought it would be a better experience selling because of some of the positive reviews.
Plato's Closet is a hidden gem for fashion enthusiasts on a budget! Affordable prices, stylish clothes, and friendly staff make every visit a delightful experience. Highly recommended!
This location needs to add some ventilating room spray or Febreze or something cause it smells like sweaty feet cause of all the used shoes every time I shop and looking through the racks. Kinda gross to be honest.
Coming to San Jose has made this Plato’s closet very different frm the ones in La. This one tho, has the same cool vibe that made me fall to my knees for Plato’s. Now I fs know that I can rely on Plato’s for cheap, creative and unique fashion that you can stop by anytime
They said they only took 2 of my items and I saw which ones before they paid me. After I looked through what they didn’t take there was an extra pair of shoes missing.
I went here and was looking for some Jordans' They had them but they said they were my size in women's but they turned out to be a size 5.5 y which is too small for my feet so I'm hoping I will be able to return them and possibly get a bigger size
The offer they gave me for two north faces jackets and one adidas coat was laughable. I ended up selling through offer up for way higher. Don’t come here expecting a lot of cash for your items they pass up on great items all the time. They need better buyers
