What a gem of a find. When looking for something in addition to wine and restaurants head on over to Playte. Reserve your spot at on of the various tasting menus you cook. The chef/teacher/owners were knowledgeable, without pretense, and engaging. Our Spanish tapas menu recipe was delicious and made with our own hands (under supervision). Going
To vineyards, tasting rooms, and restaurants it was an excellent value and fun excursion.

Chef Sandy’s tapas class was so fun, informative, and the recipes delicious! Can’t wait to make the dishes at home and return for more Playte sessions!

Love the cooking classes at Playte. The chefs Sandy and Matt run fun and well organized classes filled with great information and fabulous recipies. Everything is easy to duplicate at home. Would recommend to any one at any level of cooking skill.

My daughter and I had the best time learning to make Pâte à Choux at Playte! Sandy is a great teacher - clear, jargon-free, fun, and approachable (ask her anything, she will not make you feel stupid). She’s also obviously a great chef and taught us lots of helpful skills along the way.

It’s so nice to be able to go learn things in person again and even better to learn from someone who makes it feel easy!

Had the opportunity to participate in an online cooking class. I ain't no cook. I like to bake so I had to try out a cooking class. And OMG I do not regret it. Since chef Matt showed some tips and tricks I have surprised my husband with a home cooked meal and no food poisoning. The class was executed perfectly, resolved some of my dilemmas and made me more comfortable in the kitchen. Highly recommend. Can't wait to visit Napa and do an in class course. Can't wait for them to show me how to prepare a Thai meal with no dire consequences. LOVE IT

Had an awesome time this past weekend at Playte with Sandy and Matt. They did a wonderful job instructing the class, and I learned A LOT more than I thought I would! Thought I'd just learn how to make Gnocchi, but they they taught many different tips and tactics along the way, semi-unrelated to cooking the gnocchi itself.

They were extremely professional and courteous, and clearly care a lot about the customers they serve.

Very clean workspace as well.

Will be going back!
