First time visitor and it was a lovely experience. San Jose is a great place to go and explore. It's not busy as I thought and it was very relaxing coming from SF.

Had a picnic before going into the "Beyond Van Gogh" exhibit at the San Jose Convention Center. Wasn't bad at all.

Relaxed on the grass in the shade & enjoyed the little midtown oasis of green & trees.

No one disturbed me & my friend and we had a nice hour of intimate catch up chatting while enjoying our food.

Was eerily quiet and I was the only one in the park. Not a soul around except for a couple of rats. If you want a empty Downtown Park experience than this would be the ideal midnight time to take a stroll through during Covid Season.

Was quite empty this Sunday afternoon. Most restaurants were closed. The iconic fountain in the park was also shutdown.

Still a nice and scenic place to explore though.

San Jose Summer Jazz Festival. Great start on Friday. Check out all the live music on Saturday. You won't be disappointed for the money. Great to hear live music again in downtown San Jose.

Hey guys, if you're visiting our beautiful city for the first time, go check this place out. It's a good place to chill and enjoy the views of our very hitech city. If you're an Architect, you might learn a little something.

Everytime I walk through this park I see tourists that are waiting to see if the fountains come on.they don't. They're probably not on because we're in a drought but honestly I can't remember the last time I did see them on.

It’s peaceful. There wasn’t a lot of people. I was able to enjoy some time riding around on a scooter. I had never been on a scooter let alone a powered one. Will do so again.

Brought my family for a walk in the park. It was 78 degrees and windy. So perfect. As we walked we toured along the bart station where we found a variety of electric scooters. Downloaded the app and loaded my wallet with cash to rent the scooter. Rode around for a few minutes. Lovee this place and highly recommend it!
Like if you agree.

It's kind'a sad downtown SJ. Hopefully when covid-19 is a distant memory it will become the beautiful, vibrant place it has the potential to be.

Gorgeous park with a sizeable path surrounding it for walking. Plenty of seating. Unfortunately, large population of sketchy people.

This used to be a lovely downtown oasis with children playing in the fountain and crowds during all the festivals. I don't expect all that during the pandemic but the park is full of trash, homeless people are camping in a flagship park and rodents are out in daylight.

I have the best job. Working with Butler Amusement. I LoVe the Carnival. Come on down to XMas in the Park and have fun at the Winter Wonderland Amusement Park. Ride the rides, play the games! Win some prizes and have a blast!

The biggest fountain, so they turn it back on in summer for everyone to cool off. Right now it's hosting Downtown Ice from Christmas in the Park, another thing I haven't done in too long to remember. It'll be nice to go with friends, if I can: might not be able to afford the tix.

Nice park. Water falls in the summer time. Different events happen here. Music in the park. Xmas in the park. Pretty part of downtown San Jose in front of Fairmont Hotel

We visited during Christmas in the Park, so all the trees and decorations were up. The displays extended into perpendicular streets and walkways featuring carnival rides in different food vendors. I do enjoy the park this time of year.

We’ve been several times, most recently for Christmas in the Park. Pet and family friendly. We went on a Friday and avoided the weekend crowds. Great fountain/splash pad in the summer. Parking on the edge of the perimeter or nearby lots/garages. Close to many things.

Vibrant park that is usually made alive by the year-round stream of events. Sanitation is sometimes an issue since transient foot traffic is a constant being it centrally located in downtown San Jose. It is truly an oasis and green patch in a highly-urbanized Silicon Valley capital city. Great site to get some fresh air and tree shade. Public restroom also available on location. Lots of restaurants and shopping right across the street on the eastern side.
