Pneuma Retreat Center, Weed CA

This is such sacred land and is being stewarded with such care. We are always deeply inspired and spiritually cleansed from our time here. It’s the perfect place for a community to come and work sincerely on their inner world.

This place is wonderful in case you want to retreat yourself from the world. A couple of years ago I stopped by for a few days and finally I had to extend my stay there since I was having the most incredible time.

I got so relaxed and calm that I found myself struggling to leave. Nature is magical there and I felt very much connected with it. I'm looking forward to go back and take my students this time for a retreat.

A South American spiritual group has purchased this land and have closed off access to the locals and everyone that came here for healing for many years.

Extremely selfish for supposedly spiritual people. These waters are a gift from Mother Nature: to claim ownership is pure greed.

This place. This place. I hardly ever say anything negative about a place, I visit, because I know that we all have bad days, but I was here for 6 days and it only got worse! They say no house keeping, but while your away they are in your room, not cleaning or bringing fresh towels, just going through your personal space. I didn't feel safe leaving my personal belongings in the room much less my Spiritual Sanity.

This is sacred land that has been abused. The Indigenous people have been banned from performing there ceremonies here due to new ownership.

PSS. You must throw your toilet paper in the trash, they do not allow you to flush.

As CCO & CMO of the company which recently hosted a 30 person retreat at Pneuma, our official review is 2/5 stars.
First of all this is not Pneuma Retreat Center, this is Pneuma Institute- which is a very specific type of facility.
Little to no privacy, as the staff are in your near vicinity no matter where you find yourself on campus, no housekeeping, run-down & tiny accommodations.
Very strict & controlled environment. What type of events you as the paying host are allowed to hold in the facilities you rented is at the discretion of the owner, who will supervise everything you do at this Institute.
Very difficult & unclear communication in the planning stages.
The food was great & the land itself is lovely, however.
We will not return and unfortunately would not recommend anyone looking to host a spiritual retreat do so at this Institute.

I love this place and the changes the new owners have made. This is a most sacred place and a wonderful opportunity for serious spiritual students to take an individual retreat or group retreat. The animals have returned and the nature is pristine. If possible would recommend that you time your retreat to have a chance to arrange for a Pneuma Breathwork - an experience of divinity.

This place is run down with waning energy. On arrival the main office was closed. There is one guy who runs the thing and he served "gourmet" food on paper plates. Once sacred land has been captured by Dark Energy. Beware of this place. The service level is degraded since the main attraction (mineral springs bath house) is permanently CLOSED. Our home was burglarized when as soon we returned home after staying in this big cloud of darkness disguised as benevolent. This place was on the verge of bankruptcy and got bought by Pneuma. The level of fakery is enormous. Ask local Mount Shasta folks for their feedback. DO NOT BOOK HERE!

An incredible mountain oasis that offers so much more than simply a retreat. The courses I have attended taught by the Pneuma Institute have touched my heart and opened up a new level of understanding of how to navigate the challenges of life. I'm infinitely grateful for the beautiful experiences at this very special retreat centre!

This place is just magical! I went there back in 2019 and had a fab time with my girl friend. The place also offers super duper yummy fresh home made-like food. After the delish meals you can enjoy the pure fresh air by walking around the properties. I highly recommend this place as for a couple retreat, yoga retreat, girls friends get away or even family retreat!

Please Ask Around Before you go. Not a very warm friendly place. Beware!

Very Very awkward stuff!

This is one of those places that I can return and return. The energy, the beauty of nature, the service, food, lodging. Everything is nice. Ideal for a retreat. Besides all this, in the surroundings you can find beautiful lakes, trails, waterfalls, such beautiful places you can visit during your stay. I have been many times and I will come back many more! Completely recommended!

My favourite place to retreat! This retreat center is surrounded by nature, water, beauty, stillness, peace, vibrancy, birds, butterflies, bees and many other animal kingdom friends. I love that the accommodations are humble, comfortable, clean, cozy and there are many to choose from! This is a beautiful place for personal, family, yoga, spiritual, or business retreats! There is a lovely conference centre, yoga studio, with a wood burning stove, big bright windows looking upon the flowing creek and nature. The area is full of outdoor adventures for all to enjoy!

Most tranquil and serene retreat…. Crystal clear waters and sacred trees. Attended a weekend retreat here and I’m definitely going to host my own…

There are few places on earth where you can enter so deeply into the silent embrace of nature while still enjoying the comforts of a cozy bed. Every time I have come to this place I leave feeling renewed, rebalanced, and reminded of what is most important. The song of the river soothes and calms my nerves, icy plunges in winter awaken the inner fire, rushing and surging cleansing in spring, and in the heat of summer a crystal clear place to cool off and let go. My most recent visit was no exception, and the solace I find walking the trails and quiet pathways here will forever be written in my heart. Thank you for taking such care of this sacred place, and welcoming us in with open arms.

I have loved each of my adventures at Pneuma Retreat Centre! From getting married in the fresh snow of early April to the group retreats that have helped to transform my vision of what health truly is. The lands are alive with vitality and peace and beauty. Tranquil ~ Nourishing ~ Powerful ~ Stewart Mineral Springs has been my chosen destination for retreat over the past decade. Situated in a sacred valley and fed by Blessed waters this wonderful retreat centre is marvelous in its simplicity.
To step away, even for a short time, into a space without the demands of our so called 'modern world' offers a rare opportunity to rest our nervous system, declutter our senses, still our minds and open our hearts to the gifts that Mother Nature has here for us in abundance.
It is truly delightful to pause at SMS and be saturated by pristine air, waters, earth, and the fire of the powerful spiritual presence that permeates this retreat centre.
It was obvious that the new owners had a huge task ahead of them when they purchased this space some years ago as it was easy to see that everything was desperately needing love, and a lot of maintanence and repair, but each year that I return to SMS to immerse more deeply into the Sacred, through the profound conferences and workshops that Pneuma Institute offers, I find new life being breathed into the land and the buildings, and a different level of respect and dignity that I have observed is opening the doors for everyone to use the simple, yet superb facilities on offer here, with comfort, ease and joy.
I highly recommed Stewart Mineral Springs for the young and old, for those who also long for the Truth of Spirit that can be found in the conferences Pneuma Institute offers, for those who want a sacred, nourishing and private space to hold their own workshops, and for anyone who seeks to experience the gifts of nature in its purity. I have been co.i g to this place since i was a 5 yr old child im 48 now last yr i spent new yrs there and they were not offering baths i was heartbroken. Cruising thru a travel site on mt shasta i see that they are under new ownership. My Heart soared thank you so much.the greatest healing in my life co es from this place.i did not know what i would do without it. From the bottom and too of my soul may the universe protect and guide you

This place is so awesome, mineral baths, hot wood sauna and dip in the creek. Plan on going back this year.
