BEWARE! Called and got a quote so they sent a contract to sign that does not have cost information. Asked for a written quote and it was $1,000 higher than what they said on the phone. Called again and rep could have cared less. Cancelled!

If I could give PODS 0 starts I would. I wish I listened to some of the warnings from my fellow Google raters below.

To start, there is no one to help answer any questions except a 1-800 number which takes hours and hours to actually get ahold of anyone who can help. To make matters worse even if you physically go to the office there is no one working - just a disconnected phone number to call. They need to figure this out.

Overall - PODS is a very unprofessional company that only cares if you pay your bills on time.

Dealing with PODS was extremely unpleasant, I would not recommend them anyone that expects any sense of professionalism or common courtesy.

I was charged close to $3k over what I was quoted, no invoice or rationale whatsoever. Called customer service, they couldnt understand why I was charged that amount.its been a MONTH and I have still not been refunded. I have called in 5 times, still no refund and no idea when it will come.

Excellent resource, easy to load and move, nothing broken in the process, very little shifting of boxes

Long story short. Originally ordered 3 Pod containers and then canceled 2 because I only needed one after all. Talked to customer service before I ordered the 3 and was reassured canceling would ensure I not be charged. I canceled a week before the Pods original delivery date. Still got charged for all 3 Pods. Called customer service to solve the issue and was politely given the run around each time and problem not solved. Eventually had to go to my bank to resolve the issue. Not cool at all in my book.

It was ok. 3 out of the 4 delivery drivers were good, one of them wasn't. It was the one delivering the items to my new location. He almost left without making sure I could open the POD. He also damaged my palm tree at my location with his carelessness.

We loved that they were able to deliver the pod to my daughter apt.in San Diego CA. My daughter was able to load everything in 1 day Thank God she already had everything packed was a simple move from the inside of her apt to the pod. Once my daughter was done loading up the pod called customer service if they can pick up the pod from her house location and deliver it to Texas. Got called from customer service advising me they were picking up the pod.they picked up the pod with in 2-3 business days.bye the fallowing week her pod was in Texas. Once the pod was delivered to Texas.we went over and unloaded her pod that same day. The only thing was the miscommunication was when i called customer service let them know we will be going over to unload the pod. Customer service rep.never send email to where house in Texas that we were going over.when i called customer service and asked them what time the location closed, she advises me they are open from 9am - 4pm we arrived at 10: 30AM and the worker said he was about to leave for the day. I advise him they told me the place was going to be open tell 4Pm on Saturday. Other than that i was happy to get her belongs back to her and my grandkids

PODS was great but their online size calculator should be used with care. I don't think I gave it enough information. The POD we ordered was about half the size we needed, but I think that's my fault, not PODS's.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Every step of this process was a nightmare. I chose PODS with a price premium due to its reputation. To me, that reputation is in tatters. At every touch point, the expected (and paid for) service was not provided. No 3 hour service windows was provided initially, and when I had to call multiple times for updates, the POD was actually delivered 3 days late, causing nearly insurmountable logistical challenges with local permitting in Washington DC. While customer service over the phone is quite nice, their hands are tied and at the mercy of the local service providers (who 80% of the time refused to answer their phones, at least in my experience). Despite discussing the need for weight tickets several times with customer service (and being invoiced $59 a piece), the drivers never had any idea that this was a requirement and part of my contract, delaying delivery another three days. This cross-country move cost me nearly $7,000 and every step of the process required follow up phone calls. I spent approximately 6 hours on the phone tracking down logistics, often to be met with a vague apology and no accountability towards fixing serious timeline challenges. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

0 STARS! Avoid this company at all costs! Used this company for a military move across the country in May2022, and they provided with incorrect weight tickets. Was assured by a "customer advocacy specialist" that my issue about the weight tickets would be resolved by them, and that I would be compensated for this (military moves get reimbursed based on the amount of weight the service member moved). I have emailed, called, and had no response since July 8th, 2022 (completed the move ~ May 15th) on any updates. Every time I call customer service, I eventually get transferred to someone's voicemail and no response or reply by ANYONE at the company. Poor communication, and would not recommend/use this company again.

The website and billing system is truly terrible. Never able to log-in to my account. Customer service unable to help, citing issues with their latest website update. I can't even make any billing changes over the phone with customer service and instead am turned over to a collections agency that will contact me in 3-5 business days. Still on hold after 15 mins.

I try working for this company it started off good was looking forward to learning something. New. And coming on board with the company unfortunately the manager was very very Rude using Profanity and yelling at me over the phone I have a 0 tolerance for anyone with that Miss behavior and attitude

Great service. Even though it's a large company, it was easy to get someone on the phone who managed my scheduling issue immediately. I was really impressed. Will use again.

Only works if the pod can be dropped off at your place, picked up when you want, and delivered to another place and left until you are done. Any apartment building or city moving, do not use pod.its such a hassle.

The worst customer service- zero empathy. Lying and cheating customers.

Had to wait three hours before ever knowing if my pods was coming since customer service couldn’t get a hold of them.

I was LIED to and “guaranteed” an April 9th delivery (that I had in writing) - the night before it was supposed to arrive, I was told it was coming 6 days later.

I had already submitted a refund request 3/28 that was not put in. So 4/8 it finally was submitted.

I later called to confirm the official delivery date with the rep Christopher Porras and asked for a confirmation email. He emailed it over and told me actually it was scheduled and shipped on 4/6” and when I questioned him further- he backtracked.after I asked to have that sent to me, he told me to stop being “so negative”… after missing my personal items and lied to for several weeks.

Denia the pods “customer care” emailed me a couple times about the refund request then Closed the case while she ignored all of my emails. This company is a joke. They don’t care.

The good news—our belongings eventually were delivered to a city 50 minutes away.

My initial discussions on the phone with a representative were fine. We booked the service about 2 months before our move. After the Pod was delivered, filled, and picked up, I saw the delivery city was changed (I knew from the start that they wouldn’t deliver to my destination, but they changed it to a city over 1.5 hours away). I called Pods up to discuss this change with them, but they said it couldn’t be changed, that there was only one city in Colorado that would accept my delivery. I asked to speak with another representative, who told me the same thing. I asked to speak with a third representative, and he said that the other two were mistaken, and they it could be delivered to my requested destination.

He then asked when I would like it delivered. I told him I thought it was already on the way, as we needed it delivered ASAP. He said no, it would be kept in California until we told him we wanted it shipped. As the shipping was the whole reason we used Pods, I told him to send it right away.

Two weeks later I looked back at the Pods site and saw it was still in California. I called Pods again, and was told it would be shipped out right away and should be there within 7 days. I looked a week later and saw it was still in California. I called again and was told it wouldn’t ship out for another 5 days, and then would take another week to arrive. Five days later I called back to see if it indeed would be shipped out and was told it had arrived in Colorado earlier that week. The person I spoke to saw on my order that I had been told it wouldn’t arrive for another week, and had no idea why I was told it was not being shipped until later.

I’ve spoken to others who have been happy with Pods. Maybe I was simply unlucky, but having repeatedly been told incorrect information by Pod associates, I would never use them again. The company needs to do a better job of organizing and training their agents.

They gave me dates for drop off and pick up over the phone. I called twice to confirm my dates for drop off and pick up. But they made their own plans. Scheduling wrong dates other than what we agreed upon and then telling me i had to pick new days thay were 2 weeks away from the original date. 10 outta 10 would not recommend.

Excellent experience with PODS. The people really do make the company. Major shoutout to Brian Davidson at the San Diego location for being so flexible at accommodating a last-minute request. He and his team of drivers - AJ, Marty, and Trey - were professional, on time for each scheduled dropoff/pickup, communicated regularly with me throughout the process, and had the BEST attitudes. Thank you for the fantastic service during this stressful time!
