Point Reyes National Seashore, California

Beautiful place and amazing views from the lighthouse. The path towards the lighthouse is paved and well maintained. The restrooms are well maintained and there is enough parking too.

Great place to spend the day. Most times of year are not too busy and when it is there so many beaches you can always find parking and room on a beach. You can see lots of different types of wildlife as well. Very large park so one day is not enough to explore everywhere. Explore the different beaches because they are all unique.

Absolutely stunning view of the pacific coastal and truly breathtaking. This is one of my favorite to go places. Restrooms are clean, easy walk on the paved road going to the lighthouse.

Amazing! Wildlife and scenery was beautiful! A lot of wildlife, it was like something out of national geographic.

It's beautiful every time! Sometimes you can see a ship, always coming from the South or surfers that come to ride the waves. If it's peace & serenity your seeking, this is it!

If you've never been then the drive is worth it. The main road has been repaved and maybe you'll even see the Yule Elk that roam the Point Reyes National Seashore.

Very cool gift shop and museum, well maintained trails with beautiful views on the drive to them. Bathrooms available.

Sadly the stairs down to the breathtaking view of the Lighthouse where closed. It is such a beautiful coast, we really need to save it!

All I can say is it was magical. I highly recommend it to everyone if you have a chance to visit California. You get to see the beautiful Tule Elks which are native to California tagging along with the cows and the stunning view of the seashore. It is quite cold there so bring a jacket with you.

The Sound of Silence/SEAGULLS!
I'm going to climb these stairs again, 'cause there's a lighthouse at the end. Below the flock of seagulls swooping. That's not rain. They don't stop pxxping. Pinching loaves, as their screeching voices say, it's bombs away. And they will not be silenced. In the cloudy sky they soar. 10,000 seagulls plus some more. Onto your picnic they come swarming. Stealing your French fries with no warning. And your car, it will sure be plastered well. MY GOD THE SMELL! And they are never sorry.

Love to visit here. Been here 5 times, it was opened only 1 time. How do I get that gig. Talk about bankers hours. It would be nice if we would be able to visit our National Park resources without restrictions. What's the excuse now? COVID? Fires? Budget? Renovations?

Heaven on Earth. John F. Kennedy originally set this up as a National Seashore Park. Everywhere you look, there's something different and beautiful to see. The Park runs along the Pacific Coast, about 1.5 hrs North of San Francisco, up Highway 1.

Hike Chimney Rock in June: wildflowers in bloom. At the point, Pacific roils and roars. It's so dramatic. There are trails for every level, including a cliff climb down to the beach. Wear the right shoes! Horseback rides available.

Animals: Sea Lions, Seals, Walrus, Elk, deer, Mountain Goats, Bear, Fox, Turkey, Eagles, Hawks, Hummingbirds. Sea birds. Wildlife too numerous to list.

You can hike. You can bike. You can drive (lots of switchback, cliff driving). There are several picturesque towns where you can dine, get groceries.

Recommend you rent a house. You need several days to fully appreciate Point Reyes.

Note: we haven't been there since devastating fires, droughts.

Quite a scenic place! Sep, oct months are the best time to visit. Recommend lighthouse and chimney rock trails. South /north beach for adventure swimmers and surfers.

One of the coolest natural areas I've ever been to. Lots of hiking to do and it's just so quiet and serene. We've been there twice and are dying to take the kids. If you're looking to chill, you'll like it. If you're looking for a fast pace and non-stop entertainment, turn around.

So relaxing! We went to Drakes Bay. Its a beautiful place to enjoy a walk on the beach. For sure, always take a jacket as it can be pretty cold. Also, the restaurant was and visitor center were closed so take everything you need.

Very pretty. Thankful the stairs were closed today. Walk that far was challenging enough. Pretty views. Cold in the fog so take a sweatshirt. Saw lots of deer.
