18Restaurant says it closes at 8 PM online, went here at 7: 30 and the doors were already locked and workers inside were closing up and didn’t even look in my direction. The sign on the door says closes at 9 PM. Update your hours.
Closed when they said they were open. Door locked, lights out. No note or anything to suggest they were returning.
Nice poke cafe along Coronado's main street. Plenty of options, as well as building your own. Bowls can be filled high enough that mixing becomes a challenge if that's your preference.
Ordered the spicy tuna bowl and a Thai iced tea. The poke was good, though the tea did not have enough condensed milk.
Decent food, fish was fresh but gave very little portion. Sauces was overly salty. I definitely had better poke at other places.
Amazing food! Staff didn’t really talk… didn’t really care about talking. Atmosphere was ok, nothing crazy. I would recommend!
I used to love this place but they have raised their prices like crazy in the last year. I understand there are some increased costs with inflation, the war in Ukraine etc.but what I really don't like are the sleazy add ons. After I chose my base and got my protein as soon as I got down to the topping section everything that used to be included was all of a sudden was +$1 like imitation crab, avocado, seaweed salad etc. These are basic toppings that should be included in the already high prices. I ended up just walking out because my bowl which was supposed to be $15 would've ended up costing me over $20 with the basics. Advice to management, be more transparent with your prices upfront rather then fleecing people for every topping.
Scoop sizes were inconsistent and small compared to other poke places. The staff seemed to care less about service.
I paid to add avocado to my bowl. I opened it and there was green rotten mush all over everything. It was like gross guacamole, not fresh avocado. On top of that it was rotten and had that moldy avocado taste to it. I’m grossed out. Inedible. I tried tasting the rest of the bowl but the entire thing tastes like moldy rotten avocado. I called to try and let the manager know and the only solution was that Ubereats would refund me. Didn’t seem to care about repairing the issue she sounded very casual about it. I would avoid eating here because food quality definitely is not safe
Awesome experience. Our server was patient and informative. Not our first Poke but they are all a little different. Great selection, huge amount of food for the price, which is average for Poke. I had the Norrito, what a genius idea, for sure will be back for another one. Don’t miss this gem when you here visiting.
I’ve never been charged for crab and seaweed before so not as reasonably priced as I’m used to.
It was okay. The guac was extra and turning brown. The only veggie options were cucumbers and onions.but the worst part was the lady behind the counter walked out of the bathroom with the trash, set it in the back and then served food without washing her hands. Wouldn’t eat here again.
The poke was excellent. Tons of choices for toppings and plenty of quantity. Wasabi tasted fresh and had a great kick to it! We loved it.
Ran out of white rice more than an hour before closing and ended up using their hands (gloved) to scoop everything out as all of their utensils were dirty in the back for cleaning, and they didn’t wanna rewash again.
I will make a stop here for lunch again. The prices were average for a poke shop. I asked for a Small bowl with all the sides and felt it was very filling. Some of the reviews here mention the rice is bland, they are correct! However, I think the rice balances very well with the spicy sauce and the rest of the toppings. The parking here absolutely sucks! Thankfully I placed my order online and had no problem picking it up behind their shop. A staff member kindly walked up to my car, confirmed my order, and delivered my order. It was quick and easy! The fish seemed fresh too, no complaints about that. Overall, I was very satisfied with my order and experience.
Beautiful poke place on the Island very small and the employees are very thorough and quick with the orders I always get the 123 roll for $8.99.
This is probably my favorite poke place and it’s local to me! They will totally load you up with ALL those delicious toppings. I’ve also never been suspicious of the poke, as I am in some shops. My go-to.
Very fresh, nice variety of proteins, sauces and toppings at a good price. I really enjoyed the 123 Albacore and Spicy Tuna together.
