4 If you are looking for a taste of Hawaii while in Long Beach, go here! Kind, friendly, and delicous. The only thing that would make it better was a little better atmosphere because there was a lot of boxes everywhere, but the food makes up for that. I got it to go and drove about 10 minutes home and it stayed warm and was delicious at home. So good!
I ordered the Kama'aina Plate but I was not sure how to pronounce it and I said a #1. I did not realize there were other #1's! The older lady that was helping me was kind and understanding when I noticed she was making a different order. I said "Oh I think I ordered wrong, I wanted the pork and laulau" and she corrected it no problem.
The food was AMAZING. Poke was fresh and flavorful, the kalua pork was delicious, but the laulau was absolutely amazing, melt in the mouth and delicious.
AUTHENTIC HAWAIIAN POKE! We were on the hunt for the best poke and WOW this place surpassed our expectations. Having the Big Island of Hawaii as our standard for poke, we were stoked to stumble upon this gem! Super fresh fish, different flavor options (we loved the Spicy Mayo, Hawaiian Limo, Sweet & Spicy and Fresh Ginger), and great customer service. Don’t let the outside appearance fool you! It is a bit of a hole in the wall - but they are making the good stuff!
Best Poke joint in HB and if anyone loves spam misubis this is the place, they are always made fresh and for the size and only $3.25 you are getting bang for you're buck
Only have To go orders with no in store dining. Various forms of Poke offered from Kimchi, spicy, garlic and oyster flavored sauce. Those was the star of the lunch. Kalua pork was decent, but the chicken was way overcooked and that is the main reason for the low rating. Stick with the poke, and you'll be less disappointed
