This is the best poke spot in all of San Diego. They have the freshest ingredients, and the best fish and it’s hand down a must visit while in Del Mar. All of it - is on point! Today, after like 50 visits, a blonde girl waited on me and it was a breathe of fresh air to finally have someone talk to me about my sauces and selections! It made the entire experience so much better! Thank you for that!

Staff was not friendly. They need to be consistent with their portions. My friend got a bowl and I got a bowl made by 2 different people, my bowl was packed and her bowl barely had anything in it. She felt that she got ripped off after having to pay the same price I did $18.00.

I went after a hard work out for a health snack and was treated like dirt I’m not sure if it was because my hair was a mess or because I was tired looking but I was treated with so much disrespect from the server I had. The two associates that were on duty at the time were Emily and Scarlet is the second ones I believe it might have been starlet!?

Bowl was good but they are EXTREMELY stingy with the fish for a $17 bowl. Like it’s comical how little they give you. The bowls themselves are very shallow also, so it is really not good value for your money.

Good poke place. They offer a big variety of vegetables. Nice sitting area right outside this place.

This place used to be awesome and under the previous owner it earned 5 stars easily. Under the new stingy greedy cheapskate owner it gets zero. Not only are the prices outrageous but the portions are very small and they stopped doing the birthday bowl deal in the middle of the year who does that? It’s really too bad that the other location in Carlsbad closed down cuz pokewan really was a good poke spot. Oh well only a matter of time before this one closes down ¯_ (ツ) _/¯

The food taste and service I visited recently were really good. I think it's the best Poke in this area.

The guy who was serving tonight gave ridiculously tiny portions. I literally got 5 PIECES of corns as topping. Asking for extra just made it to 10 pieces in total. I love this place but I hope they do a better job in training new people and improve the consistency of their portion.

I ordered off of Uber and normally I would have gone into the store personally, but I am on a business trip and don't have a car. I will preface this with the possibility they are better if you go to the store in person.

Food quality is good. The issue is that they got the order wrong, and forgot utensils. I ordered a happier make it your own with tuna and scallop portions with the pokewan sauce, I received a salmon and scallop bowl with no sauce at all. I also don't have utensils which I made sure to request on the order. I'd be willing to change my review grade if I could actually eat my order, but I don't have utensils and I refuse to eat with my hands. Combine that with the fact that the order is incorrect I can't rate this any higher than a 1 star. Basically a waste of $20, and my time.

They might be different in person, but covid has been going on for long enough that such mistakes are pretty inescusable at this time.

I thought I would try this place but the poke bowl tasted like garbage I would never go back here.

I've had alot of poke in different places in California bye far this is the best poke I've ever had! It's so fresh, flavorful and healthy! The rice is amazing. This will fersure be my new go to poke place! Great customer service as well! Keep up the great work pokewan!

We were super hungry. I ordered poke for a first time here on Monday. I came to home and guess what? ! They did not add rice to our poke (I ordered it with white rice), when I pick up my order nobody told me that they did not put rice. For the first time, I was eating poke with bread, because poke without carbs does not help you when you are hungry.

Very healthy fun options for add ins and all included, including avocado and seaweed salad, so I was happy! Tasted fresh too.

I love to come to Pokewan. The food is always fresh and delicious. Although, I work 2 jobs and can rarely order inside and often have to order for pick up (this is because I have only a small window in between my two jobs to get food and get ready for my next job, I start one job before pokewan opens, and end the other job after it closes so on weekdays I have to order pick up if I want to have time to eat it). EVERY TIME I order pick up my order has something wrong on it and my order is not ready in time. I usually brush this aside because the lateness is only by about 5 minutes and it doesnt make me late, and when something is incorrect I will just ignore it because I do not have time to go reorder my food. But today my order was completely wrong! I was missing calamari salad, mesago, and sriracha. And I got several things I did not ask for like avocado and 2 other types of fish I do not know what they were, maybe scallops and tuna? I also got onions which I did not ask for. At this point I wonder why I am paying for this because it is not what I asked for.
