Mexican Restaurant Pollofino's reviews
15Get the deluxe burrito. It has been one of my favorites for around 30 years now. Even my daughter says it's the beat burrito she has ever had. Her only regret is not getting two.
One of my favorite place to eat, for tacos, burritos, quesadillas.great costumer service I definitely recommend 'Pollofinos'
I have Been coming here for many years. Best ribs ever. The Tri tip and chicken are delicious. Every meal so far has been consistently good. Must try place at least once.
This place has amazing Mexican food! The service is great, prices are reasonable, and most importantly, the food is fresh and delicious. My favorite thing to get is the tri-tip.
Everything we had was delicious and I absolutely want to try the tri tip next time. The food was fresh, the tortillas homemade, and the salsas spicy. One of hidden gems in Goleta. I only have one suggestion for the chefs at this restaurant, the ribs would be that much better if they removed the membrane underneath. It’s easy and quick to do, so I hope they are able to in the future. Aside from that, love this unassuming place.
Pollofino's is excellent. Chicken is on the sign, but their ribs and steak are really good too. A nice selection of salsas, all with good flavor and heat.
I started coming here in 1997 when I got a job just down the street after the Marine Corps. Jerry was always fun to chat with, and the guy who is running the place worked their back then. The chicken and burritos are amazing, always fresh. I've never been disappointed after a meal here and I stop in whenever I'm back in Santa Barbara.
Excellent food, enjoyed every bite.
Pleasant staff.
This was my first time, will go again.
Jerry's Pollofino is an unassuming restaurant in the plaza by the Target in Camino Real marketplace. Though the offerings range from bbq ribs and chicken to taquitos, nachos and burritos, the real highlight for me, without a doubt, is their charcoal grilled chicken (there's some secret to their marinade that I haven't been able to replicate at home). Split a whole bird with your date/best friend which comes with a generous helping of rice and beans and your choice of 8 corn or flour tortillas. The nachos and burritos are also quite good, but the taquitos were pretty dry. A recent price hike brings the value proposition lower, but it's still the best meal you'll get for $10-15 per person in Goleta. My go-to spot when I want a dependable, healthy meal but can't be bothered to cook.
If you are eating at the Chipotle next door instead of here, you are should seriously reevaluate your life. Some of the best chicken burritos in northern southern California.
Same reevaluation advice goes for Subway over Sam's to Go next door.
The menu is very simple, but it's all you need. I know it's called POLLOfino but I buy a steak burrito once a week from this place. The bright green salsa is really good, but it's also very spicy, so have that at your own risk lol
My only recommendation for this place is that they should offer fresh chilis or jalapenos with your order. Yes, the salsa is good, and yeas the offer the jalapeno and carrots you see at most Mexican places, but the spicy crunch of a fresh chili or pepper would just top it off for me.
Five stars either way.
Can't believe this place is still here. Was excellent in the late 90s and still is. Really miss being able to do lunch here on a normal basis
Very good meat. They grill the meat right after you make an order. The ambience is not that great, but the food is.
I don't eat a lot of pizza but when I do it's little star. Good pizza, good service, good times.
The best ribs and they make them special order also never had a issues and they are friendly honest and clean and really good.also just a bit pricey but they are good
