Excellent event lunch. The beef with bernaise was cooked perfectly as were the vegetables. The carrots, broccoli zucchini and yellow squash were fresh, bright and not over cooked. Overall, I was delighted and impressed.

Incredible food. The steaks are amazing. Desserts less so—the options are a little boring, but that's okay because the dinner was so exceptional.

I usually go to Orange Mining Co.and been going there for years but I moved closer to Pomona so I thought it would be exactly same. Sadly I was wrong. Unfortunately, they don't have the all you can eat salad bar due to covid restrictions but that cannot be helped. I hope they bring it back. I always get the Ribeye cook rare. My ribeye had a large chunk of fat in the middle the size of a Reese's peanut butter cup. I didn't notice it at first because they placed the seasoned butter right on top of it and the melted butter covered it up. My wife got the prime rib but I'm not sure if they changed the recipe because it had no flavor what so ever. Usually there is a nice seasoned crust around the prime rib but this one only had maybe 1/4 of a crust. This one also had a big piece of fat in it too and cartilage which was uneditable. I understand steak has fat but these pieces of fat were just too big and when you go to a good steak house it usually has a small piece to no fat. For the price I would rather go to a different steak house and pay a little extra for a better steak. Our service Missy was terrific! She is the only reason we would consider going back. Overall it was okay, wasn't bad but it wasn't great.

Went here to buy gift cards and I'm impressed with the personnel, very friendly and good customer service. Haven't ate here yet but hopefully soon once I get to have some time off and weekend availability. From what I've experienced during my short visit, I will recommend this place.

The valet forced a side mirror closed and stripped the gears causing $900.00 in damaged. Have not heard back from restaurant when they were informed

Large portions. Cocktails were very good! Menu lacked variety, but the food was good and portions were large. (share a plate). Food overall is a 3, but the atmosphere brings the experience to a 4.

Not allowing the all you can eat soup and salad bar. A big disappointment. Other than that, the steaks are still good and the cheese bread is to die for.

Great atmosphere and waitress was great. It was my birthday so desert was on the house and I was given a birthday card with there names in it. Loved it!

We had our family Thanksgiving dinner with the wonderful Folks at The Mining Company. Missy was our server and she was fantastic. The atmosphere was great very homey. The views are spectacular highly recommend having your function at the Mining Company.

Me work had a Christmas lunch here, and all I too can say is, this place IS IN DEEP NEED OF a pedestrian walkway! Since not everybody owns a vehicle. Anyway, I too am trying to forge a petition to have the Christmas lunch here again, let alone I miss Ciera Merrick like the deserts miss the rain. She too said that day we met there I made her birthday, December 15, VERY special to her! Truthfully, it's because she caught my eye, as I said MANY people at my work are VERY unphotogenic. I too, would sell my plasma to have the Christmas lunch here again, as I'm still itchin to see Ciera again. She's a nice lady! An oasis in the desert! Hence after this, a newcomer at my work eventually figured me out that I am a visual person. Bless her for figuring me out. Hence in this review I said about Ciera catching my eye. Only reason I decided to share these pictures as well.

Came here for Thanksgiving with the family. Made a reservation ahead of time. Glad we did because we were seated within minutes and we were able to sit by a window. The view is gorgeous, especially during a sunset.

The hostess and waitress were on point. Very friendly and attentive. Our waitress checked on us regularly. Thank you Michelle! She was awesome!

They had a Thanksgiving special, but I was craving a steak. Decided to go with the Rib eye steak rare with mashed potatoes and clam chowder.

They also served garlic, cheese bread which was soooooooo good. There was melted cheese on top and it was served fresh and hot.

The clam chowder was good. It hit the spot.

The Rib eye was tender and the flavor was delicious. It is topped with a herb butter compote which enhances the flavor and has your taste buds doing a happy dance. The mashed potatoes were also good.
I recommend the rib eye. It was good!

I also had a lemon smash cocktail that didn't disappoint. It wasn't too sweet and was strong. Pretty good.

The only complaint that I have is about a bartender. I went to their bar to order another drink. I saw that no one else was ordering a drink so I thought it would take no time at all. I was wrong. There were two bartenders. One of them was preparing drinks for the servers while the other was not paying attention to her customers. She was looking at her phone, talking to the other bartender. I waited 5 minutes and she realized she had a customer waiting (me!). She was clearly distracted and ended up dropping a glass and chit chatting with another server that came by.
The bar itself is very nice and they have a nice variety of liquor, especially whisky.

Definitely recommend this place for a date night or girls night.

It was alright. Acceptable service, decent food, but exceedingly expensive.

Fries were great Others in our party had good reviews of the Miners Filly. The burger was a joke. Small slice of pumpkin pie was downright nasty, especially for $10. They'd have done better getting one from Costco.

Our area had 4 large groups. It was uncomfortably loud, and uncomfortably cold. Would not return if it was my choice; too many great places to eat out there.

I’ve been trying to get a hold of the event team the whole week. Nobody answers. I’ve called at least 20 times throughout the week…. Tried emailing, called all of the sales members and even the restaurant manager and still haven’t gotten a called back. We were really looking into hosting our event here… so disappointed!

What a fun restaurant! Used to be an old mine, now it’s a fun spot for atmosphere, drinks and food at a reasonable price!

This was first experience with Pomona Valley Mining Co. I must say that the views were great. The staff was hospitable.

However, I would suggest that they add a few more menu options

Great view, great food! This place does get busy, especially on the weekends, and for good reason. Be sure to have a reservation and it'll be good!

It is a nice restaurant, located near the Fairgrounds of Pomona. I have been here once, in September of 2021, after COVID lockdowns. The views from the restaurant are breathtaking. The wait time to get seated is not long, and usually, they will seat you in 5-7 minutes. Furthermore, the meals are delicious. My meal, that I have ordered, was a steak. I can say, it was really good. At the same time, the working staff is really helpful! One drawback, the meals, are on the expensive side. So, I would recommend to visit this restaurant, only, when disposable funds are available. Nevertheless, the place is quite clean, staff is helpful, and views are breathtaking. Definitely, will visit this establishment again.

Wee bit run down, but it looks fun to go to someone's wedding there.
Me personally, I wouldn't have my reception there.
