We drove out from LA at around 5am to make it to the 7am mass. To be there early in the morning and witness the sunrise in the quiet and stillness of the Basilica was such a breathtaking experience. It makes you appreciate all your blessings and give thanks to our wonderful and merciful God. The holy mass at the monastery chapel was the highlight of the day, the priest with his solemn homily and the nuns singing praise, I was in joyful tears again. All glory to God.
