Pope Beach reviews
16Entrance was $10 on a Saturday in September 2021 and there we're lots of parking. Nice beach with lots of shade from the trees. There are bench seats and picnic tables all along the sandy beach.
Lots of shade and the water is crystal clear. Come here if u want to take a dip or get a tan!
Lovely place. We sat in the shade, enjoyed the lake and all the beautiful views. The restrooms are clean and handicapped accessible.
Parking lot fee is $10. We should reach there early there during weekends and holidays to get parking spot. It was crowded on Saturday.
Amazing time being here, parking 10 bucks, alot of space i love it here can't wait to go in again
Awesome place to go with family! It can get cold when it's windy but great place to bring kids or relax with your S. O. They also have a place to rent kayaks, picnic, play volleyball and you can paddle board. It also was $10 to get into the parking but it was right by the water and completely worth it! Sadly no dogs allowed other wise it would be 5 stars
Great beach for the kiddos to have fun! If you park outside it will be a little walk to get to it.
Gorgeous view of the lake with moutains in the background and crystal clear water. Absolutely beautiful
We love Pope Beach, it’s clean & water is clear!
Enjoyed walking in the sand, relaxed, going swimming & enough parking. Worth it for the $10 entrance.
One of the best beaches in Tahoe, worth paying parking and spending time
Kids can swim, there are no pebbles or sharp stones
Beautiful beach to go with kids or just go relax the water is so clean the view is amazing, parking cost only $10 the Kayaks rental for 1 is 30 X one hour for 2 people and two hours is $65 is not bad.
Most beautiful beach! Very long sandy beach with nobody around. This was late October which was perfect for kayaking, boating, hiking and for some brave folks, swimming. Tad too cold for me. I seen kids swimming though! There's so much room on beach you will have lots of room. Close to town.
The water is so clear and clean. Must get there early to get parking and a good spot on the beach.
Beautiful beach with easy access from the parking lot, places to grill, a long beach coastline for walking, etc. Gets crowded during the day but still, the beach is large enough to accommodate lots of folks with good physical distancing for Covid. Definitely a worthwhile beach to visit with kids and family!
We really loved this beach for our family. A lot of shaded areas with tons of picnic tables. Ample parking and different areas to access the beach. Functional and clean bathrooms. Got in early ~9: 30 and had so many places to choose from. Our 6 and 2 year old had a blast. We rented a paddle boat which was awesome. All around excellent beach.
Was surprised to get right in on a Friday in July at about 11: 00am. Nice clean beach, good restrooms.
