Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Oakley CA

This is probably the worst popeyes in the bay area. All the staff is young, aloof, and on their phones in front of you. Most of the time if you go through the drive through you are asked to pull in front. Then you're playing casino odds of whether they will forget about you or not. If you decide to go inside it's an 85% chance there is something wrong with there system. Whether it's cash only, or only accepting online orders, etc. The only thing positive is that the food is still good most of the time. Aside from that it's almost always a poor experience.

Second time I've gave this Popeyes a chance. Orders always incorrect and staff is unprofessional

I've gotten the worse customer service from here. Does the owner even care who he hires?

I went to the Popeye's in Oakley, CA to get better service than in Pittsburg, CA and Concord, CA. They are so rude and don't know hospitality! Today at Popeye's in Oakley, the manager said to me and one boy, "l am only taking orders from the drive thru". I said, "that doesn't sound right". She said, "I am the only one here". That wasn't true. So, I go through the drive thru and order. I give her a $20.00 and she said, I don't have any change. Do you have a $10.00? The service in Pittsburg, Concord and Oakley is horrible! I am an African American. I don't appreciate the way we are treated be these people. Highly disappointed in the service. They need to be trained over. Oh and my fries were not hot and the chicken wasn't crispy! I will wait another year or more before I go back to Popeye's! They use to be good! Not any more!

Poor customer service! I Order for pick up. The restaurant marked my order as ready. I get to the restaurant, the rude manager tells me they are out of what I ordered and walked away. I waited for a while before anyone would help me. She was very rude along with other staff when I had a question about how to cancel. Long story short I still got charged for 2 meals that were never made. NEVER AGAIN!

Manager with the red hair had the door unlocked in the inside and said you have to go through the drive-thru when there was over 14 cars in line waited over 30 minutes for my food

Listen to all the reviews talking about customer service, they're all true. The food might be great but it doesn't matter if you can't even order it multiple times.

Don't go to this place. The bathrooms are nasty. No paper, no soap. I ended up very sick with diarrhea for 2 days

Drive thru was quick. Guy in the drive through was attractive mm love me a man with a turban… anyways very friendly staff never have any issues there

The chicken was good, coleslaw was ok, and the biscuits were ok. Fair fast food for furious feeds when necessary. The prices are unfortunately, like everything else now, high. $35 for 8pc with a side & buns. I can get a roasted whole chicken for around $10 at most grocery stores. This is not a great deal and it's way over salted. It was also very slow. With one car ahead of me, it took over 20 minutes for my drive-thru order. So it isn't even fast.

Small pieces of chicken, the wings were smaller than pinkie finger. I asked for extra gravy on the mash potato, we received very little portion of gravy.
Poor.
Ghost pepper wings are good. Keep that on the menu

Very worst customer service. I don't know why they keep doing a bad service to the customer. I bought the chicken and a gravy no mashedpotato. The crew asked me again I said gravy only no mashed potato. When I received it they just gave me the mashed potato but not the gravy they don't listen to the customer and they took my receipt they want me to park in the parking lot to wait for that gravy. So I went inside to see if they prepared the gravy I am so upset and disappointed. They asked me the receipt and because I forgot if I Had the receipt I went back to my car I remember they took my receipt when I came back still they didn't give me the gravy they just chatting and doing nothing. They are the very worst crew today that I encountered.

Went there after work and was told they were out of much of the menu. I mean they didnt even have packets of BBQ sauce for the nuggets I ended up ordering. The person over the drive through speaker kept laughing as she said they were out for each item I requested until finally I settled on a couple of items they said they did have. Got home to discover that they got even that wrong. I am not sure how you can give me the wrong item if I order the only thing you say you have in stock.but they managed it.

The chicken was delicious the fries were scrumptious but the apple pies were cold went from gold to bronze with that

Every time I try to get food for a family of four at reasonable dinner time they always give me the line of “we’re out of that” this place is a joke don’t waste your time

I Cannot believe this place Only has 3.4 stars this is the best Popeyes that there is I have been to Pittsburg, Antioch, Concord, San pablo, Tracy, and Buttonwillow and there the best hands down there sandwich is Legendary i live right by antioch one but I won't even eat there I come here Can't believe I'm just leaving a review If your going to get a chicken sandwich there is no better one than this one If there is a better one I have not been there

The food was ok. Service was slow. Took 30 mins to get through the drive through with only 2 cars ahead of me when i pulled in. I asked for military discount and they couldn't find the Manager for password approval. After almost 10mins I was able to flag down the woman working thr window to tell her to forget the discount and just charge me for thr food.
