Porky's Pizza Palace, San Leandro CA

Ordered my pizza today and got a fluffy pizza without pepperoni. Order was pepperoni, ham, and bacon. Last time i ordered a pepperoni and ham got pineapple and ham. I support local business but it has started to go downhill.

The second time they "confused" my order. Ordered Pepperoni pizza and received home a cheese pizza and it tasted like it was sitting there waiting for someone to order. I think this is the final time I support this business.

Quality is good when you receive it the way you order it, but it's a pizza place. How hard can it be to make sure your paying customer receive what they paid for? Quality control is going down. Good luck Porky's.

Besides pizza that is great. Have amazing sandwiches, salads, chicken and pasta and much more. And family own business.

Order online spaghetti and salad plus garlic bread. Salad and spaghetti were good. The garlic bread was burnt so that was a bummer. They real busy and seem a little unorganized in front. Not sure who was suppose to be working the counter. But definitely had plenty of people working. They are always busy very popular place. Lots of Pizza choices plus beer

I got the 2 piece chicken only, dark meat with just potatoes. The chicken bad potatoes are always very good. Too many potatoes though. I also got a mini pizza chicken club pizza. It was good. Baked perfectly and it had huge chunks of chicken and lots of mushrooms

Went to Porky's to watch warrior game and they were crazy busy! The crew was on it making pizzas non-stop. Everything csme out hot and delicious. Shout out to Sean who kept the front end rolling smooth!

The food is great and service is good, I think it's a good place for birthday parties and casual celebrations. Although the lighting inside is a bit dimm but it all adds to sporty aesthetic. All in all it's a generally great time.

Excellent pizza and fried chicken! These are what I've had, but I'm confident rest of menu is just as tasty! Besides the quality of food, delivery service, and most of all, business practice stands alone in customer support: optimum in this time of dwindling food service. Respect and recommend

Placed an online order and walked in at the designated pick up time. Stood by the front register for several minutes while being totally and completely ignored by cashier. Asked for only one thing in order notes - disposable utensils - since we were staying at a local hotel. Despite the request being the largest thing printed on the order receipt, they somehow failed to include them and if they were somewhere for the customer to grab them, we weren't informed of that. No red pepper or parmesan or mention of it. The fried chicken was pretty good (7/10), the pizza was mediocre (5/10), and while the ravioli pasta was pretty good (8/10), the sauce served with it was not enough for the dish and was old or overcooked or something (3/10). Basically, every thing we look for in a decent takeout experience was a fail here. We won't be back and regret spending our money here.

Food was really good. My friend picked up the pizza said it was very loud from all the sports games and crowd.

I had the fried chicken dinner with a Caesar salad and the chicken was crispy and juicy on the inside. The chicken was far more superior than any chicken fast food: church's chicken, Kentucky fried chicken and Popeyes chicken in that order of my own preference. The pizza was excellent also the combination and the pepperoni. The best I've had since the pizza place in Berkeley I forgot the name and then round table, pizza hut, and mountain Mike's in that order for me. I had lived in San Leandro for 20yrs. And I never ate there I would just drop off my kids their after their Pop Warner football game and then pick them up. Wow I missed out but going to make up for it

The food was hot when I picked it up. However, the sauce was probably tasty fresh, it tasted like it had been sitting reheating all day and burned. The ravioli themselves were good, but there was not enough sauce or it was too dried up for the raviolis on the bottom. The pizza had plenty of toppings, but it was unremarkable pizza. The mushrooms were good, but the sauce and crust were just okay, pizza is subjective, it did remind me of pizza at Pizza Hut when I was a kid. The person at the counter didn’t even acknowledge me for several minutes when I got there to pickup our order. I was standing right in front of her, I thought maybe I was in the wrong place for pickup. The inside of the place looks like a good place to meet up with friends especially with kids or to watch sports. I did see they have their own store cars for delivery, maybe if it was delivered I would have been less disappointed, without all the effort to find and drive to a place, the food was just okay.

First time order. I placed a pickup order for a thick large combo pie and 10pc wings. Pizza only had about 65% toppings, couldn't taste sauce nor cheese at all. Wings were very good, but not the pizza. I think the guys in the kitchen are more focused on quantity and forget about quality. And management are not doing too good on checking. I would think about ordering ones again

I updated my review because of their outstanding pizza flavor and customer service and delivery service is considered 5 star.
I had to speak to the manager and It was hard to make an exception for me, but I had a work-around which I had to give an actual house address for delivery to a park. And I told them, call upon arrival which they did, and ON TIME!
The kids didn't wait long, and finished the whole thing.
I appreciate all Porky's employees!

Been eating Porky's since I was a small child I'm now in my forties and still eat at Porky's they have some of the best pizza around also the pizza sub sandwiches pretty good

Nice place to get a beer and some great fried chicken. The pizza is good too. Friendly service.
