Porsche Burlingame reviews
20 I received the email that my key arrived on Dec 14th after 5 months waiting. And their service department is very unprofessional and rude. First, they asked me whether the key was there or not. I answered yes and I received an email from them. They put me on hold and checked. And then they mentioned that they did not find it. I mentioned I have received the email. So they transferred my call to the parts departments and I talked to them myself. They found the key so they transferred my phone back to the service department. The person in the service department became very impatient and asked me who I talked to and who said my key was in. I replied they did not give me the name. The person said she needed my VIN number to make an appointment. I replied please give me 10 seconds. I took like 5 seconds to find it and read it back to her. She just said I did not have time for you and hung up my call. I was very upset about the experience! I was surprised by what just happened! A terrible long story.
But Sachin was the only one very nice and helpful.
I hope I never went to the Porsche Burlingame.
While I wish we had a Porsche dealership in San Francisco, we’re lucky that the closest one offers such a great experience.
I’ve brought my Cayenne Diesel in for service, warranty repairs, and recalls numerous times and always get the royal treatment. Scott Molton is an attentive and detail-oriented Service Advisor and takes great care of my car. Their team does excellent work worthy of the Porsche crest.
As a cherry on top, they bring my car back sparkling and clean, and they usually put me in a nice loaner if the car is gonna be in for a while.
Great dealership, great Sales Advisor, Cesar Caceres.
I bought a CPO 2020 Porsche Cayenne S from Rector Porsche and worked with Cesar for a successful transaction. The vehicle was listed accurately on the Rector website. I asked Cesar for a few extra photos which he quickly sent. We agreed on a price and Cesar handled the transaction and documents like a pro. Good clear communication. He recommended Montway Auto Transport to deliver my vehicle, and this was a great recommendation.
Thank you Cesar! I recommend doing business with Rector Porsche and Cesar Caceres.
My son worked closely with Cesar Caceres in sales. He played a pivotal role in my son's acquisition of a Porsche GT 4 RS. According to my son, he was great to work with. He worked diligently and hard. I found Mr. Caceres to be a very friendly, kind and forthright human being.
If you are looking for good sales representative to buy Porsche, please ask for Michael Chang. Friendly and very attentive.
Took my wife’s Cayenne GTS for transfer case service. Carlos took excellent care of me. Top notch service overall. Glad to have such a professionals and welcoming service just few blocks down from my house
Extremely poor quality on tires! Extremely poor towing service from Roadside service! Extremely poor car service!
My car is fairly new and only ran for 4500 miles. On a Friday night, one of the rear tires popped while driving on the freeway. Super scary! We got off the freeway, called Roadside service, we waited for one and a half hours, no one showed up for towing. We had to call AAA for towing service, and they arrived so fast while the towing driver from Porsche Roadside service still hadn't come yet, and that was literally over two hours passed since we requested.
We found out that the tires are from a Korean brand - Hankook, but we had never heard of it. We paid a luxury price for this luxury car with cheap tires!: (
The service representative Carlo never communicated with me about what happened with the tire and what he is going to replace and the cost for replacing the tire. I was so surprised that they just asked me to pay the bill straight without any communication. I tried to talk to Carlo about that, and he just responded: "Do you want to accept that or Do you want us to take the tire off from your car? Only two options! " O. M. G. Was that a threat? Couldn't believe my ears!
Extremely disappointed! : (
I recently worked with James Jamous to purchase my Macan at the Porsche Burlingame dealership. I had a wonderful experience working with him. To summarize, he is very responsible and trustworthy, and patient.
I am a first time auto buyer and a pretty new driver. I probably had much more basic questions than his ordinary customers. He has always been very patient in explaining to me all the small details on all features and the purchasing process. He typically replies to my text messages within an hour and would take the extra step to call me and explain if there is any confusion. Before placing the order, I have called over 10 Porsche dealerships around the SF Bay Area and LA. James was someone who I was comfortable placing an order with over the phone even before meeting him in person with his professionalism over our interactions.
He is very accommodating to all my requests. I was looking for a stock or incoming inventory car. One special request I had is for the build to include Adaptive Cruise Control which is rare for any stock or incoming inventory to have as an entry model Macan. James would diligently look into all the cars coming into the dealership and update me as he sees fit. Ultimately, I was able to find a build that for every single feature it includes, I would be adding them had I had the opportunity to customize the car myself. So I didn’t have to pay for anything I don’t need.
James offered fantastic customer service. After placing the order, James would update me every step throughout the way so I was never left wondering. He would communicate with me on the expected delivery date, all the materials needed to pick up the car, and what to expect on the day of pickup. He walked through every button with me on the car during the pickup and set me up with a technician for an additional education session. He even paid for an additional Porsche keychain and offered to fill up a full tank of gas for me a week after pickup.
In conclusion, I had a terrific experience working with James. I would definitely purchase with him again for a new Porsche (some time in the future lol) and would recommend him to any of my friends looking to buy a Porsche.
Me: I'm thinking of spending well over $150k on a new 911 - do you have something comparable that I can drive?
Them: Well, we have cars but we really don't like people to drive them.
GO ELSEWHERE!
Not a great experience trying to test drive and/or buy a car. The parking lot is closed, so you have to park on the street. Moreover, we were told that a test drive of a Macan was available, only to make the trip to the dealership and be told that in fact it wasn't possible to test drive any cars at all. Not exactly a premium experience by any means.
Went to get a Brake kit from Parts And Tim treated me really well, great customer service! I'm a Commercial Account and that was one of the best experiences I had at a dealership! Everyone I dealt with there was also very courteous and professional! I would give them 20 stars if I could!
Friendly service.
Parking is not the easiest but that's to be expected in that area.
Parts available in stocks only for newer model vehicles.
1 week wait time if you ordering.
Rating just the parts department.
Nobody came to the showroom to help us. We were left alone for 10 minutes. Went to seek help on the Audi side, the gal at the desk there said she'd page someone. We gave up and left after a bit.
Stopped in to buy some shirts. Limited selection! Not much in a men's medium.
However, the folks are very nice.
People are very nice. James was a super nice salesperson. Special shout out to Ms. Linda Wong, who went out of her way to sort out a title transfer situation for me and my son. She saved us a lot of hassle and time. Would buy another car here just because of her. My experience here was excellent.
Fantastic dealership and big call out to Randy Hill and GM. Outstanding and high quality customer experience!
After calling another bay area dealer twice to speak with a service advisor and schedule an appointment, then having to leave a message that was never returned, I called Rector. I was immediately connected with Scott, who was super helpful and I made an appointment for the next day. When I arrived Gary the service manager wrote me up and though I was previously told it would likely be two hours diagnostic time to attempt to resolve the issue with my Cayman Gary thought one hour was likely to be enough. An hour later my car was finished, the problem was resolved and received a complimentary wash as well. The cashier that rang me up was super pleasant as well. I should mention that this all happened after my car was at a respected independent Porsche repair shop for three weeks and they finally gave up. So to say I'm happy is an understatement.
Ok so I've had great experience having my Porsche serviced here and pretty good experience with my wife's Audi Q5 serviced as well (though I usually take her car to independent shop locally called AutoKraft). However many years ago I had a poor experience with their sales department on the audi side. I'm glad I didn't write off their service department though from that one sales experience.
Professional and accommodating staff. Wide selection of new Audi’s and Porsche. And another building with certified clean vehicles. Felt at home and like family during my experience here. Special thanks to Josiah for showing us around and going above and beyond for any little request we had and crunching numbers and options. Hope you guys enjoyed the cheese rolls from Porto’s!
