Posh Paws Grooming Salon & Daycare reviews
17I love this place. This is the place to go. Looks nice and clean. Groomers are nice and accommodating. My dog always looks amazing after I drop him off here and the pricing is decent.
After being a customer of this place for literally years and paying full price for full grooming I actually decided to use a discount offer. I received a text last night saying tomorrow is $12 off Tuesday. Click this link to book your appointment- which I did. When I went in today and mentioned it at checkout the young girl behind the register told me I needed to prove to her that I received the text. Even though I just told her the entire scenario. I must have ESP to have known all that! I literally thought she was kidding. I said, are you serious? (I had left my phone in the car so I had left to carry as I had to pay and pick up my dog) You want me to go out to my car and get my phone right now and bring it in and prove to you- I got a text message from you guys yesterday? It’s the reason why I actually decided to book him today. She said yes I need you to go get your phone. I went outside got my phone and could not find the text. I’m sure I deleted it. I probably could’ve gone in deleted messages, but I had people behind me and her staring daggers through me while I desperately searched for the text. To make me feel like I was being untruthful after how many years I brought my dog there and psid full price even though I had coupons emailed to me that I forgot to mention or bring in multiple times is unacceptable! (AND always tipped good as well). I finally told her, forget it but I will never be back here. And she said to yourself. She was smug, condescending with zero customer service skills. Sorry Posh Paws my dog will be going elsewhere moving forward.
Came in for a walk in for my dachshund puppy.got ears/teeth cleaned and a nail clip.was a super quick appointment.staff was very nice and friendly.will be coming back
We love our groomer, Majesty. She is so passionate about pups. Thanks for the great service.
Since taking my dog here, she has been limping, won't walk to her food or water, and licking her front paws non-stop. Upon reading some of the other reviews and responses from management, I'm extremely concerned that there is animal abuse actively happening at this location. My dog has not been the same since bringing her home. She is skittish and especially afraid of men and flinches when touched.
We will get to the bottom of this
I don't usually do this, but I would hate for this to happen to another dog.
When I arrived to pick up my dog his groomer told me that my dog tried to bite her and that he bit his paw. She said that was the reason why my dog had blood in his hair. So I was like ok I understand, it was super strange for me since my dog is not like that, but those types of things can happen. At the moment my dog was so excited to get out of there so I trusted in what she told me and left. Then when I got to my house and checked his paws and there was absolutely nothing on his paws, and I saw how drops of blood were falling that were coming out of his nose, and his eyes were red (look at the pictures). That day my dog didn't eat anything and he was super down. The next day I went to talk to the manager and the groomer, because I wanted to know exactly what had happened to my dog. They told me that the groomer was off that day, but that in the notes she had said that my dog had bitten his tongue. Which that was totally different from what the groomer had told me.
I told the people there that if he had bitten his tongue, then what happened with his nose and his eyes? They didn't know what to tell me. Then I called the co-owner and he told me that the eyes were due to stress. First of all he gets groomed often so that that the answer is no he’s used to getting groomed, And secondly I don’t know who he thinks he is to be giving an opinion on something medical when he’s not a veterinarian. By the way, it's false because That same day I took my dog to the vet, and the vet said the reason his eyes became that way was due to (STRANGULATION).
I don't plan on contacting them anymore because it's simply a waste of my time. They are people who only make excuses and don't accept their mistakes.everyone I talked to just made excuses and honestly didn't even care AT ALL. I hope your clients and future clients read this, I love my dog, and I hate seeing him the way he was. They shouldn't put so much pressure on the groomers, and have so many dogs at the same time if they are not going to be able to handle the situation correctly (with patience at least). All I can think that happened is the worst no need to hurt my dog, it is so easy to call and tell me to pick him up. Take a look at the Christmas photo that they sent me and you can clearly see the blood near his nose this is simply horrible and unacceptable. It’s so bad that even when I called the co owner on the phone he said that the photo should have never been sent out on their end. (Zoom in to my dogs face and look near his nose and you will see the blood) Please think twice about taking your pets to a place like this. I am very disappointed and sad that this happened.
Response to owner:
Yes they called me two days after I posted this review, don’t try to gaslight people. You are making it seem like I posted this after you guys called. I told the groomer that I appreciate the fact that SHE called me, and apologized for what happened since none of you guys did. Just because she apologized it doesn’t change the fact that I am not going back to this place, and that my dog got hurt. You can say whatever you want to but the pictures are there and you are going to tell me that the eyes happened just because my dog supposedly cut his tongue. Also I never said I was okay with anything and have proof of what the vet said if you would like me to add it on here as well.
I’m not going to delete this review the only reason I did it, Is because this can happen to another dog simple as that period end of story.
Def going to be a repeat customer! I called to make an appointment and we discussed all the protocols taken into consideration due to the dog virus going around. Very knowledgeable and helpful! Snuggles was in and out super quick with no issues every 6-8 weeks you know where to find us
Posh Paws is ALWAYS accommodating and Professional! When they say your dog will be ready in two hours it holds true! I like the text message letting me know my dog is ready in case I am out and about!: O)
Switched to this groomer after 14 years with my last one. So incredibly pleased and my 14 year shihpoo is very happy when I pick her up. Place is well ran, wonderful little store inside for doggy/ pet items and employees appear to be happy working there. Very well located on the Roseville / Rocklin borderline (blue oaks by 7-11).
Been great! Already have my 3rd appt set!
Evie always comes on with a stellar haircut from Posh Paws Grooming Salon in Rocklin. Her groomer, Abigail, is so sweet and Evie goes to her willingly. Thank you for the wonderful service at the check-in desk as well! Always polite and attentive!
This salon has injured so many dogs, cut off tongues, strangled dogs, and the haircuts aren’t great - DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOG HERE I HAVE SEEN FIRST HAND WHAT HAPPENS!
Posh Paws Rocklin gave our 7yr old golden retriever great, loving care and he left looking handsome
I bring my 2 cats to be groomed by Sara, Diego a long hair simease cat and Sassy long hair domestic the shop is clean and the groomers are courteous. My cats enjoy their day of grooming. Cats are welcomed. Lion cut for simease cat
Should have taken a before photo. This is after… and he’s a sleepy boy after his morning, bath, brush and trim. Wonderful service! Great communication and one happy pup! Thank you Maddy for doing an excellent job on our little guy!
Service is very good. Our Dog comes Home looking so good. That new Haircut is so Wonderful. Makes her feel good. Thank You Posh Paws.
Sashi did a great job cutting our Cavalier's hair to the shorter than usual length exactly as we requested. They have always done a great job on our pup. We've tried other groomers to see if there is someone better, but keep coming back to Posh Paws. They do a professional job at a fair price.
I love how well they take care of my cat Marley he never stresses out with his groomer. They are reasonably priced and will work with older cats if you have them
