Bar Powerhouse Pub reviews
14Powerhouse Pub is a very efficiently ran bar, 100% safe and the bouncers are always on the lookout for anyone too drunk or just out of their element. Super packed, many rooms, great drinks and the music bumps perfectly for entertainment
Place was pretty damn legit if I may so. Tons of different areas all had there own atmosphere
Thank you, Klavin, for welcoming strangers for this evening's event, and your colleagues are welcoming us! We appreciate your continued humor.
It’s a cool venue, and has a lot of potential but needs a deep clean and more than 2 stalls in the ladies room! Live music was great, excessive amount of large security dudes who kind of throw off the relaxation factor. Great spot to people watch, drinks were just ok and served in plastic cups. Beware, don’t get drowsy or they will throw you out on grounds of being over intoxicated even if you’re sitting at a table chilling with a water in your hand minding your own business. LOL!
Love this place.there's a mixed genre of music that doesn't clash with the other sounds.meaning, live music in the front and the back has hip hop dance music.the sounds don't clash. The margaritas are good and the fellow people are cheerful.
This location is ideal for an intimate concert. It can become packed for popular bands. Drinks are reasonably priced. They might be belligerent, but staff responds quickly when customers cause problems. Water is available for purchase, making it easier to remain hydrated during the show. The sound level is appropriate for the little space. I'd recommend seeing a band here.
This place has terrible management and rude bouncers. I used to go to this bar all the time and always had a great time, but it has went way down hill in the last couple of years. My entire family was kicked out one night after we had paid over $200 to rent the top floor for a birthday party. Just because my dad sprinkled some water on my sister. That’s it. And instead of simply asking him to not do that, the bouncers dragged all of us out of the bar. I was in the bathroom at the time and didn’t even know what had happened, but when I returned and went back up the stairs, the bouncers met me half way and grabbed my arm and shoved me back down the stairs. I asked what was going on and why they were taking me out, and none of them said a word. Once out of the bar I demanded for a reason as to why I was being kicked out when I did absolutely nothing wrong, and was only answered my the extremely rude manager (who I’ve learned is named Naz). She told me that I could never come back, yet still didn’t tell me what had happened or why I was being kicked out. All of this because one person in our party jokingly sprinkled water on another person in our party. And instead of speaking with us like mature adults, these testosterone driven bouncers put their hands on us and shoved us out. After we had all spend at least $500 between renting the upstairs and paying for alcohol. I will NEVER return here until they can hire a decent manager and respectful bouncers.
Enjoyed a great Halloween dance with friends and others from surrounding Folsom, Roseville, Orangvale, and other surrounding communities.
I love the atmosphere at the Powerhouse. Very fun environment and bunch of areas where you can listen to different music. You also get to see live music.
The front and back are distinct, with several places to buy drinks. There's probably something for everyone! Get there before 9 to skip cover charge.
The security staff is a little abrasive but overall pretty cool and the rest of the staff is awesome especially the bartenders
We've been excited to go here, heard good things but my experience was no good: (
We arrived at 9 and the place was dead. We wanted to go explore Folsom but we're told we would have to pay full price to re-enter. It's a lame policy that should be reconsidered. I suggest if you go, make sure the place is poppin before you pay the cover charge. Total disappointmement
This place is super ghetto, the drinks are watered down and the old lady at the front taking covers refused to give us change saying she had already given it to us, which she hadn’t then she had the security try to intimidate us into leaving. If you want to have a good time, don’t come here.
Awesome! Place to hang out. Three different rooms with three different kind of music and all range of crowd from young to older.
