Presidio of San Francisco reviews
19 We stopped here in the evening on our last day.
I wish we would have stopped here earlier. It's a very neat spot. Lots of playground/green spaces to relax in. Bike rentals around and the cleanest public washroom I have ever seen.
Pro-tip, the muni bus has stops throughout so it's easy to visit.
Great place to walk around, hang out and get amazing views. Golden Gate looks absolutely amazing from here and it is nice to be able to visit things like the Walt Disney museum nearby. Tons to eat too such as food trucks and restaurants in the area.
Definitely a site to include in your visit to San Francisco. You might have difficulty finding a parking spot right there. Be ready to take pictures. If you have a toy boat to sail, it did look a potential spot for this activity. There are some benches. Lovely short walks through landscaped areas through and around the columns and dome. Take time to spot all the birds. It is crowded.
Rarely opens. But well worth the visit.
Large amount of places to take good pictures
Well manicured military area that holds the historical values of long past days. Not much to do in the general area beside hike around the trails and maybe visit the Disney Museum.
Drove around for hours making stops at Vista points. Gorgeous views of the bay and Golden Gate Bridge
A beautiful corner in San Francisco. It may not be one of the classic highlights, but it is definitely worth a visit. It's worth it for Star Wars fans at the latest, because George Lucas built his company headquarters here.
Lots of good benefits, including paying for a portion of housing if you work 32 plus hours a week.
Went for a long walk in Presidio and the sights were just amazing. From mystical fog-coated woodland areas, to the winding downhill staircases, to the clouds parting to reveal the Golden Gate Bridge standing proud in the sun, it was one of the most memorable aspects of my trip to SF.
The best place to enjoy the beauty of San Francisco! Great trails and places to sit or walk to enjoy the views.
It’s is as you can see in US movies! So fun to be here excepted the unsafe area. Indeed, each parking lots in the neighborhood are commonly visited by criminal people who smash the cars windows to steal tourists stuffs. Be very careful.
I ask myself what is the police and authority doing for this? Are we in the USA or in third world? I’m not surprised why people are avoiding these places.
If you're looking for the best spot to watch the fleet week and hang out for the views of the golden gate bridge, look no further than presedeo Park. This park is clean and spacious, with plenty of benches for picnic lovers. You can also find decent bathrooms nearby, so you don't have to worry about that. And the best part is the amazing view for pictures. You can capture the stunning sight of the bridge, the bay, and the planes flying overhead. Don't miss this opportunity to enjoy a fun and relaxing day at Park.
It's a nice place to visit specially in the mornings to breath fresh air. Oh play games with friends and family. It's has sharing bathrooms. Bring your own water and food and don't forget your dogs.
What can I say, a unique landscape. The intertwining of nature and the human hand is truly exciting.
When I moved to San Francisco I had never heard of the Presidio. Within less than a year and a half I was living near a trailhead in the park with three fun and interesting roommates. I love the Presidio! And with the great history of the place along with the new Tunnel Tops, the aging/decaying Andy Goldsworthy's Spire and Wood Line, the ever-changing Baker Beach, and the surprise views of the Golden Gate Bridge that appear seemingly every time you turn a corner, this National Park never fails to move me. P. S. Great spot for a first date!
This beach has the most beautiful sun set with the mountain in the back ground. On a rare occasion you can see the whales playing under the golden gate bridge.take you stroll along this beach and bring a friend.if you know how too.crabing with a 10 foot pole can bring home a bounty of west coast Dungeness crab
I love this place, if visiting SF, must visit, views excellent! Visited Disney museum, wonderful. Recommend upscale mexican restaurant in officers’ club buildings
Good viewpoint of the Golden Gate, there are little paths to walk and even bike tours, very cool
Gorgeous new park and children's playground overlooking the marsh. Wonderful addition to San Francisco's open space
