Pressed Juicery reviews
7Wish they still accepted cash, and judging by employees attitudes seems like a terrible place to work:/ I feel guilty when I go in because the prices are so high but the employees are so miserable, its the kind of service you'd expect from Mcdonalds. Their menu is a tonne of fun and I used to get juices/smoothies all the time
Vegan ice cream. It was different and good. Toppings are all fresh and fun: nuts, chocolate, fruit
The juices I’ve had are delicious! My favorite is the roots juice with ginger. My complaint is this if you’re selling something that’s healthy for what I would consider a premium price, six dollars a bottle, why aren’t you using organic ingredients at least for the high pesticide items like apples and celery?
When I reached out to the company they said “oh we like to source local” and left it at that. But if you research organic farms near San Diego they exist! Press could be sourcing from these vendors, but for whatever reason they choose not to.
So when you weigh what are considered to be benefits of juicing, we have to consider as well the amount of pesticides were ingesting simultaneously.
I would like to see the company do better in this area. For example even if they used just organic celery and apples it would make a big difference. There are fruits/veggie’s that are not considered high in pesticides, however apples and celery are two of them.
Healthy and tasty. The store is clean, the staff is really nice and caters to your likes and dislikes and is well informed about the products and ingredients.
Couldn't find it. Drove and walked around the 'area' but was not able to find anything. I even checked the directory.
Had a hard time finding the location because the map pin displays it smack dab in the middle of the parking garage! I had the acai bowl and it was good, but would not come back to this location, because friendly atmosphere is everything to me. Staff seemed unenthused about being there/interacting with us. Asked if there was added sugar, and staff immediately replied 'no'. She then went on to say there was maple syrup and agave in it. Friends, this is added sugar. It is however, free of refined sugar, which is what she meant. I looked up the stats on the website and the nutrition label clearly states the added sugars: 13g and sugar alcohol: 16g. Please make sure that the staff understands this, because it's very important for some to regulate their sugar and carb intake. And please, if you can, don't make it apparent that you dislike your job!
Order for pickup here after a shopping trip with my niece.
Just read the other reviews about others having a difficult time with the hours listed and the actual opening. Luckily, I didn't have that problem so I guess the hours were updated after all of the complaints. The staff were helpful, sweet, and attentive. I'm generally a picky eater especially when it comes to veggies and fruits, but the drinks were quite delicious! Though you can definitely taste the healthiness of it and the after taste is kind of a kicker.
