Echoing what others have said about the friendly no pressure atmosphere of this family run dealership. More importantly they stand behind the cars they sell. Purchased a 2006 Lexus RX400h from them and took it to Lexus Carlsbad the next morning for inspection. They identified several significant issues requiring repair. Prime had a mechanic make the critical repairs and struck a fair deal with me for the costs. Would recommend them.

I was absolutely dreading buying a car. I have never had good experience at a dealership - ever. I’m also in a transitionary period of my life so I am not the most ideal candidate for an auto loan. I reached out to Prime Auto and Tony helped me. When I say he helped me, I mean he really helped me. I was already turned away from one dealership and feeling like this would be a waste of my time. I explained my circumstances and Tony was very up front and honest about how to successfully get me into a vehicle. He was patient, communicative, and forthright in our email correspondence that went on for a few days. When I went into the office, I got to meet the rest of the team who were also very friendly and helpful. I truly can’t think of a way to really emphasize what a pleasant experience this was for me. Tony, in particular, left a lasting impression on me. He was also very welcoming and accommodating to my dog who came along with me. Many years ago I had the pleasure of working with Tony and Prime Auto Imports on an SUV with trade-in. He was honest from the start, no pressure or games like at other lots. I had never purchased from a dealership and never wanted to. Tony completely changed my attitude. My entire experience was positive and I have always kept them in the back of mind.

Flash forward to today when I called about a vehicle that I've been searching for. Tony picked up and was extremely friendly just like years ago. What's amazing is that he remembered me exactly: my last name, my gf (now wife), my profession, and many details about our interaction. All these years later.

He took his time, answered all my questions, sent me a Carfax, and agreed to send me extra detailed images and video chat if needed.

This is NOT your typical used car dealer for sure.

We are looking forward to working with them again on another vehicle. 100% recommended.

Prior to buying a car I looked at all the dealerships for the vehicle that I was searching for 2nd generation Toyota Highlander. With the car market and how things are it was difficult to find something at a reasonable price as you all know in 2023 there is inflation and dealership marking up their prices. Prior to reaching out to prime Auto imports I did my research on a dealership and looked at all the reviews It seemed like they had good reviews and a good reputation I checked their website and it looks welcoming and presentable. I was able to find a vehicle that I liked but living 400 miles away and having a newborn it was difficult for me to make the trip down there. The vehicle that I found on their site was the best price and found throughout the state with the low miles. After making my decision I decided to reach out to them and they were welcoming and professional. I mainly work with Tony and Fadi. They were real professional walk me through on the process of buying a car out of the area since this was my first time. We agreed on the sales price however I did try to talk Tony down on the price but he was for but he was willing to work with me offering me a full gas of tank and detail upon purchase. And this was the best price for that type of vehicle throughout the state of California. I didn't feel pressured by them they just let me know when I'm ready go ahead and proceed for it. The bank transaction and the sales process was flawless. Prior to the purchase I did ask them to take it to my preferred mechanic I found in the other area to do a pre inspection purchase without hesitation they went ahead and did it and I had the mechanic look at it and pass with flying colors. At the end the vehicle was shipped to me and I was able to find my own shipper but they did have a list of shippers that they worked in the past. Overall I I had a really good experience with them they were really professional and there were still pressure throughout the process. When Tony was not around I had Fadi to contact as a back up. I also get the vibe that they are a very busy dealership but at no point I ever felt like they didn't have time for me or to assist me with any questions or concerns. This is a pleasant first time experience in buying a car dealership and I hope we do business again one day when it's time to find another car. I wish the dealership the best and continue to thrive. One last notable thing I would like to mention is that Tony forgot to detail the car prior to purchase. I assume they got busy at their dealership and a lot of moving parts. Fadi did reach out to me to let me know that Tony Will send me a check to compensate for the detail. It did take a while and I had to follow up and remind them but that's okay. As long as they follow through and do business the right way.

Tony and Fadi were great to work with. I flew in from Phoenix to buy a car unseen and my Honda Fit was in the exact condition it was promised to be in. I loved driving it home through the desert and I'm so glad I found it and Prime Auto.

I was looking at a 4Runner from these guys along with a few others. Today, I actually received a call from these guys telling me someone had put a deposit on the one I was looking at and that it was no longer available. I had only submitted an online info request and he took the time to call me to update me on the status of the vehicle. THAT is how business is done. They will be the first stop next time we look for a vehicle.

Great experience. They really take care of their customers. They understand the struggles people go through and appreciate honest hardworking people highly recommend them.

One of the worst things in my life was to purchase salvage vehicle (s) from this place. They really didnt care if there were parts missing from their vehicles. I wish I had never dealt with them. The truck I purchased had a leaky roof which the owner did try to fix but was never really repaired and was tired of having truck at body shop most of the time. I just went and purchased a certified vehicle that I didnt have to worry about anything. I would just be careful with who you buy with. If they had sold me a product that was up to par I wouldn't be writing this review. I lost thousands of dollars because of my decision.

Me and my girlfriend went in there last Wednesday to look at a 2006 Yukon they had I was interested in. The day before I emailed and talked to Fred to make sure it was there still and available. He let me know it was and some more info on it. We went in the morning and was greeted by Fred who took us too it and let us check it out for awhile by ourselves to look it over and discuss it. Then let us test drive it which I was very happy with. We talked numbers and told him wanted to think it over and discuss what down we were going to do and payment range we wanted which he was OK with it told us to take our time. Emailed him on Thursday about what deal I was hoping for and got a call back they were able to do it, did the online app got a call back very quickly from him saying was all good to go and broke down payments and terms with me. I was in Friday morning and Tony made the financing and paperwork very quick and easy for me. Was very pleased with the experience and professionalism they gave me and my girlfriend there will definitely refer people to them and probably buy another vehicle in the future from them. Thanks again Fred, Tony and the team for getting me out in the Yukon I had been dying to get!

These guys are amazing. Truly a good group of people. I can’t thank you all enough for working with me and getting me in my car. I love my little car now it’s paid for and I’m happy I have referred two people to prime auto and I’ve worked with the family and they have a ton of integrity and I couldn’t recommend anyone more if you’re looking for a nice used car. Went in to see in person a work truck advertised on craigslist. Fred was very accomodating. Escorted me to where the Nissan was parked, said I will be back with the key and you can start it check out all you want. "I will leave you alone so you don't feel pressured. " In all honesty most buyers do their research on what kind of vehicle they're shopping for so I just needed to take a peak under hood and find out any problematic future problems. It was a low mileage Nissan Frontier in excellent mechanical condition. What was the thing that broke the deal was a small repairable scrape on corner of the bumper. It wasn't hidden and is mentioned in the online post after going back and reading ad. Since it was a black truck the paint almost hides the scrape/swipe on the online photos. My future purchase will be something I will keep a long time so I want something Nice, thus no sale. But was impressed how well I was treated.

I just don’t have enough words to describe all the positive feelings I have for this group of gentlemen. Such a pleasant experience from beginning to end. Blessed to have them in my life! Although the staff/owners are nice I would not have bought the car my son in law bought from them. It wasn’t disclosed until purchasing the car that there were no remotes to the car. It cost $300 to get one remote from their “key guy” with no promised discount. The sales person kept distracting my son in law while making the sale with other conversation. The purchase was a month ago and there are already major issues with the car. Very unhappy.

Prime Auto made the buying process simple and easy and I drove off with the car I wanted the same day. They have a wide variety of mint condition luxury vehicles for every type of buyer.
