Prime Pizza reviews
19Best vegan pizza I have tasted in California and the staff or phenomenal. Will definitely be returning!
This place is definitely one of the more professional pizza places. They don't hate you for being there and they're actually nice to you. And the food is good
A delightful classic pizzeria which is becoming an increasingly hard to find nowadays. The pizza flawless. Definitely highly recommend this joint.
Pizza is awesome. It’s pricey as compared to dominos or Pizza Hut. But it’s worth it. Only thing is you might not get your order on time specially on weekend evenings due to rush.
I really wanted to like the pizza. Ordered a Supreme tonight.my first order from Prime. It looked OK and smelled really good.
The flavor was pretty good, but within 15 minutes I got queezy and nearly threw up. Not just me, same for my adult son who also ate the pizza.
Something was really off with this food. I have a fairly iron stomach, so this is not on me.
As for the atmosphere, it was really off-putting. Was met at the door and not allowed inside. A guy retrieved my pizza and handed it off to me at the door. Uh.what? To me, this means the price point is all wrong for this kind of takeout only, maybe sit on a bench outside kind of restaurant.
The only plus was that the pizza was ready when they said it would be.
Not for me. YMMV.
The price tag of $30 for a large pepperoni pizza is expensive, and the pizza was overly salty with a minimal presence of tomato sauce.
I'm gonna do it even though it's maybe not smart to do it. I need to compare PRIME Pizza to my current local fav Prince Street. IT'S ON THE LEVEL!
The grandma slice and regular slice are crisp and oily and tasty and everything you want in a slice of pizza pie. I also sampled wings and wanted mozza sticks and meatballs and everything because I wasn't disappointed by the pizza and wings. Topped everything with a nice fizzy drink to spike my insulin.
I arrived right at open and there were slices ready to serve, and a stream of deliveries and pickups already occurring in the first 20 minutes of opening. The steady business is a good omen! I feel like everyone knew about Prime Pizza and I didn't:/
I'm looped in now, though, and I'm excited to visit their Altadena location.
Prime pizza it’s so salty specially their veg and granma.salty to a point that is not enjoyable.why does it have to be so salty I never had any pizza that is made with loads of salt!
If you want an authentic and delicious pizza and can’t make up your mind on which to order, come try a few!
My husband and I got about 6 pieces total in different flavors and each was delicious! The pizza was fresh, cooked to perfection and had just the right crunch to the bread. I will say, the service and pricing are not great.
There were a bunch of girls talking the cashiers ear off when we arrived, so we stood there awkwardly waiting for about 5 min while they chatted and he didn’t even acknowledge us. If it wasn’t for the terrible parking lot, we would have just left. The price was also high per slice.
If you don’t care about service, the food and atmosphere are good. They had some seating inside and outside. Inside, it looks and feels like an old Italian
pizza spot from the movies, with its quirky memorabilia and famous visitors. But the music they play is old school hip hop. We enjoyed the pizza very much, but will likely not return due to the high price, bad parking and not so great service. It’s also quite busy here.
The Sicilian style pizza was ok. Also, they put the wrong toppings on our pizza, after going over the order on the phone. When paying $40 for a pizza, you’d hope they would get it right.
The worse pizza ever. So salty and soggy. Called the manager to bring back and get a different one. They said I can go pick exact same one. Huh
This is my second favorite pizza in Los Angeles. The square pizza meat lovers with added jalapeños is my favorite. The crispy edges, thick crust, and great flavor. Only complaint in the parking lot is so full because the pizza is that good.
THIS PIZZA SLAAAAAAPS!
Aside from amazing owners who let us try stuff (unheard of) it’s so good. The white pizza and the Sicilian are where it’s at. Thanks for a great ending to an awesome day guys!
My husband and I are normally picky when it comes to our pizza. Places like Pizza Hut, dominos just don’t provide the fresh taste that prime pizza does. I definitely recommend your family pizza night with prime pizza.
The staff was hospitable and provided great service. The pizza was flavourful and plentiful. Definitely get it served in a box so you can take the leftovers home!

I have a gluten intolerance. This place has the best gluten-free pizza around. I highly recommend going there.
The pizza is consistently delectable. I’ve never actually eaten at the restaurant until my last visit and we had a group of around 10. Not the best place for a larger party when it’s 95° outside but it’s not their fault. At least there was plenty of water in frequently refilled dispensers and picnic tables with umbrellas. It was just too hot and there aren’t many tables inside. But the food more than makes up for that.
One of, if not the best gluten free pizza I have ever tasted! It tastes just the same as wheat, just unbelievable! Soooo delicious! And Ryder is soooo nice, he is theeeeee best! I don't know the other guy at the register but he was nice as well. Love this place the first time coming and I will definitely be back! They also gave a rewards system in place which most places don't (including Pizza Hut and this is wayyy better than Pizza Hut). Thank you!
Great service, friendly staff. First time here, and to say one of the best pizzas I've had. I'm definitely coming back.
