Primo Market reviews
16Oh my goodness! This place was delicious! Come for the tacos and stay for the BBQ. I tried all of the tacos.shrimp one was my least favorite. Everything else I would buy again. My favorite part over all was the barbecue right around the corner from the Taco stand. The tri-tip was second only to my wife's, and brisket was also delicious
I highly recommend this place the food is awesome and it has a market attached so if you want to get some carane asada or Mexican ice cream plus local IPA’s you and yes plenty of parking and the workers are friendly so yes I will be going back again
First and last time I come to this one.
Besides waiting 45 min for 15 tacos
They couldn't even get half my order right.
Whats sooooo hard about PLAIN.
Definitely going back to one in vista
One of my favorite places in north county. Taco Tuesday is a must try but the line will get busy. Don’t forget to hit the market inside for some Carne Asada to go.
Definitely the best tacos in Oceanside. Expect a wait on Tuesdays and Fridays. I recommend every taco outside of the shrimp. The only complaint is how dirty the place stays even when they aren't busy.
69. Cent taco Tuesday’s and Fridays. Best tacos in Oceanside hands down. If you go on tacos days get there early if not I’ll have to wait bit But it’s worth it. Best times are 10/11 am to 3/4 pm to as void the rush.
Outside food: street taco
. 68 cents on Tues and Fri. Fish, steak, and carnitas were excellant! Busy, but SO worth it. Obvious why it was busy.
Go inside for a nice store. Check out ALL the meats to buy and take home. Sample the pulled pork, tri tip (THE BEST I've ever had) short ribs, AND beef ribs. Amazing flavors. No bbq sauce needed! But available in multiple flavor preference. Will be visiting for my favourite bbq meats
I have not been there in 20 years, we drove 50 miles to get there just to eat street tacos. Long wait times if you go at lunch time, try to go before or after lunch time. If you like taco shop food it's a 5 star.
They rock, good Mexican food and good Mexican Market. You gotta love Our Americans that come from Mexico! They bring great food and culture, and Real Mexican people are Salt of the Earth. I can't tell you how many times in my life of 61 years that they have welcomed me into their house as a total stranger and treated me like family. They can teach a lot of us 4th & 5th generation Americans about God, Family and Country. Because they know as Good as anyone that AMERICA IS THE GREATEST NATION ON EARTH!
OH, BTW. If you don't Think and believe that, then Leave America for the Country that you think is better! Sheeeesh! But yeah good food
This place is a true south Oceanside gem! It has been here since before I was born. They have a lovely variety of convenient groceries for locals and tourists alike. You can also treat yourself to some delicious authentic Mexican cuisine over on the side of the building where the tables are. Try to go on TACO TUESDAY, when their famous street tacos are only 69 cents each!? Idk who could ever beat that deal! It’s worth the wait and you will NOT be disappointed. (Disclaimer: they are STREET tacos which means the small kind, I usually eat about 6 tacos and they fill me up) They’re sooo good, TUESDAYS, and everyday!
Review for outdoor bbq offerings. For the price, $15.99 for a huge amount of moist, tender brisket, beans, rice and a free brisket taco…it really can’t be beat. Friendly staff, good vibes, great food. I’ll try the wings and ribs next time around.
Fish tacos and breakfast burritos are awesome. The cashier was super friendly. Still bummed I didn't get to try the barbecue.
Everybody raves about Primo‘s market and I don’t know why. Maybe it’s the food that you can buy inside and take home to cook but I’d have to tell you the food to go is not that good. I found it to be tasteless and not very well managed. I understand that the counter inside sells BBQ which the window outside does not.
Love this place, the staff are friendly and accommodating. They have the best carne asada in the meat section, great breakfast burritos and the bbq is 100
Come for the Tuesday 66¢ tacos and stay for great Tri-tip burritos. The supermarket is nice to have as a neighborhood resource with daily BBQ smoked meat on sale
