Prince Memorial Greenway Trail reviews
9Drought and floods, it all happened here, So beautiful in spring and summer. At the beginning are bathrooms
A potentially beautiful trail marred by the homeless and the government turning a “compassionate” blind eye to those in need of services just hundreds of yards from city hall.
Fires on the trail are now part of the experience; solicitation for medical products; public parking; public urination; dumping of furniture and tires. Enjoy the new garbage transfer station, everyone!
So now that you have pointed out the many problems so you have any suggestions as far as a solution?
It is a beautiful park. That being said: There are MANY homeless there. The north side of Santa Rosa Creek was passable with a few homeless tents (and the waste that seems to come with them). The south side was completely blocked by numerous tents.
Pleasant enough in it's own right & an excellent route for pedestrians and bicyclists to travel between downtown Santa Ross and it's western edge.
Drug dealers and homeless. What a mess! We tried to walk here during the day. Walked around the people hanging around and shooting drugs. They looked surprised we were there to walk.
Public Beware
One of the best free places in Santa Rosa! City Center on the creek with a water feature for kids to enjoy. Walking paths with important water shed information posted along the way.
It is beautifully designed, nice water feature for the little ones to cool off, tends to have a few homeless hanging around because it's one of the few public restrooms available and a shower (outdoor without a partition or curtain however) but they are harmless so don't worry
I love this place, we call it the fish park. The water feature is awesome the kids love to come and splash in the water, nice way to cool down on a hot day
