Prisma Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu by Leandro Vieira, Morgan Hill CA

I can't say enough good things about Prisma Jiu-Jitsu and coach Leandro. I originally chose Prisma over other local studios for my kids because I really liked how coach Leandro balanced making his classes fun and informative (it was a big plus that he was the one actually instructing the kids classes as well). He took the time to get to know both my kids, their strength and weakness, and has worked with both of them to bring out the best in each of them.

Even though I am German, the Brazilian coach Leandro took me in without any anger based on our both nation's soccer history =)
But with all seriousness, Prisma is a very great place to start as a newbie or an advanced grappler.

As a newbie you will not be crushed ruthlessly by the higher belts, but taken under their wings and shown proper technic and given a chance to practice it on them as well.
On the other hand, if you want to feel the full consequence of challenging experienced grapplers - the sky is the limit.

Everybody is friendly, a good variation of age, and you do not have to fear the over excited grappler who might put too much force in uncontrolled movements.

Try it out, you will not regret it.

Great school to train at, love the environment and people who train here. Everyone is always willing to work, learn and help. Professor Leandro is a great instructor who keeps is playful and always motivates us to be get better and do our best.

We've been beyond happy with Prisma. Both my children love it, and you couldn't find a better coach than Leandro. He's devotes all of his (incredibly vast) experience to his students, regardless of age. He holds all of his students to his incredibly high standards (and consistently turns out tournament winners), yet does it with respect and kindness. This is a rare gym.

Jujitsu is my medicine, it gives me an opportunity to relax from my days. It is a form of exercise that transcends a mere workout. Your brain is fully engaged and your body fully committed.
