Progeny Psychiatric Group reviews
17Terribly run office, poorly trained staff. I tried calling this office multiple times because my psychiatrist had not fulfilled the refill request for my medication.called 3 days in a row and had the pharmacy send requests numerous times to no avail. In need of my medication I decide to go in person and see if there’s anyone I can speak to in order to get my medication. When I walk into the office the unwelcoming receptionist has her AirPods in and hardly acknowledges me. I’m assuming the reason my phone calls were never returned was due to staff like this who are too busy being lazy and listening to music instead of picking up the phone to help their patients.
I have been coming here for years. My first doctor was a nurse practioner. She did a wonderful job. Monica
Currently I have Dr. Linda Tran, she takes me as a patient very well. She has tried different meds and we seem to have a good balance right now. Before covid the office can get pretty busy.
Sometimes you may have a restless patient. But that is about it.
I really don’t like having to go out of my way to write a bad review but this entire facility needs to be shut down.
Would leave zero stars if I could. Just had my first appointment with Dr. Pravin Ashfar here and the experience was so bad I almost have to laugh. How in the world does a person with such poor social skills become accredited? She cut me off multiple times when I tried to explain my symptoms, and then asked me the same questions over and over because she couldn’t let me get my answers out. Her accent was very strong and I’m almost wondering if her English is lacking because she did not seem to understand even the simplest three word sentences I was trying to get in to the conversation. I felt deeply embarrassed for her by the end of our meeting. I hope she can find a career she is better suited towards.
DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING TREATED LIKE DIRT! I don't like giving bad reviews, but this facility and this doctor earned it. I took my son to Dr Farhad Nikoo for a mental evaluation. He was actually referred to us by another therapist (I'll have a word with her as well to make sure she doesn't recommend him again). This was our first time going there, and the GPS in my car gave me the wrong directions, so we arrived 9 minutes late. 9 friggin' minutes! I had filled out the paperwork ahead of time and gave them to the receptionist. She had me fill out 3 more pages. While we were filling those pages, this doctor's next patient arrived. He came out and called her in. A few minutes later, the receptionist told me that because we were late and the doctor had other appointments after us, he couldn't see my son and we had to reschedule. I took time off from my work to come and see him and my son desperately needs help, and now he expects us to come back again just for being 9 minutes late? ! I was told that he needs a full 30 minutes with my son for his evaluation. So why did his next patient arrive early and why did he take her in? He knew we were there. Why didn't he have us go in and fill out the rest of the paperwork while he started his work? When we left, my son, who is suffering from a bad depression, said "I thought he was supposed to help me. " Well, I guess we're bad people for being late 9 minutes. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE TREATMENT! If you want to be treated like dirt, this office is where you need to go!
No formal structure and boundaries to set at all. They often don't call or leave back anything. Too selfish when they net pick info they want to listen. Unprofessional and only care about patients.
Linda Trinh, she is wonderful and responds quickly to emails. She’s very professional, kind, attentive and helpful.
This place cannot help real psychiatric patients. If you have major depression and anger issues, be prepared for uselessness. They can't handle it if you disagree with them. Moses isn't even a real Doctor, but calls himself one.
Nightmare. They never pick up the phone. I called the office 3 times to cancel my appointments, they never picked up the phone. They charged my insurance for the visit I never came and asked me to pay 50 dollars for no show fee.
Stay away from this office. They ripped you off and did a lousy patient care
I’m editing my review today. Last time I gave them one star because LINDA TRINH was very disrespectful and mean to me. However, DR MOSES MORAR is one of the best and knowledgeable doctors I have met. It’s all about respect and understanding. So I give him 5 Star. Conclusion 1+5=6 6/2=3
If you require medication DO NOT GO HERE! They do not have enough doctors to serve the amount of patients, and are not organized enough to handle the overload. Getting a hold of the office is nearly impossible and, if you leave a message, don't expect a call back. Unfortunately, I've had to go without meds due to Progeny's instability, which is inexcusable for a psychiatric provider.
Progeny Psychiatric Group excellent staff!
Friendly proficient caring excellent on scheduling then calling to remind me.
Texting me as well. Wait time short.
Dr. Farhad has been seeing me about a year.
Great listener caring supportive great on medications.
Dr. Farhad and I consult together on lab work as well.
I drive from a different County to see him.
I trust Dr. Farhad completely under his care!
Thank you Progeny Group.:)
Depends on who they assign to you but I've had a positive experience since coming here for over a year.
Dr. Tran is exceptionally knowlegeable, and is very personable. I've always felt complete confidence/trust in him. I recommend Dr. Tran without reservation. (I am, however, unfamiliar with any of the other therapists/psychiatrists in this group.)
Do not be seen by Moses Morar. He is unreliable and unsympathetic to your problems and needs. If you are having any problems he will only respond to you once a week and most of the time he disregards your messages. See a professional, not a nurse practitioner.
I have been coming here for awhile and they are always very friendly and efficient. They always listen to what I say, and work with me to get the right medication. I'm glad I found this place.
Unprofessional, discompassionate. Misinformed, accusatory, unhelpful. I will never recommend it to anyone.iy
