This is what I did: went to Joseph Philips Udemy course, then went on practicing questions on Oliver's, simplilearn, prepcast free mocks, pmppracticeexam.

Bought PMMaster Mock exam stimulators and Prepcast Exam Simulator.did a total of around 6.5k questions, created own study guide on errors made and points to learn.

Re-do the 4 Mock Exam Papers a week before the exam, and study my own study guide, resting and tapering down towards the end to have fresh mind to prepare for the PMP exam.

And I did it in 25 days.

PS: I only referred to pmbok or the agile guide when I got the answers wrong and wanna do retrospect myself

Hi, I used the prepcast simulator to prepare the PMP exam. I passed on my first attempt yesterday, with above target in all domains. The simulator helped me tremendously, I highly reccomend it, the best money spent. It gives you extensive explanation on the questions, it references the topic to the PMBOK, and it helped me to really understand the subject. In addition it gives you example of the tricky questions, you can get in the real exam. Thus, I truly recommend it.

If you want to pass the latest version of PMP, you can forget the existing 'bibles'; they're out of date. Go to this place - the service & product is excellent. I am a PM with over 30 years of experience and wanted to re-certify with the latest more 'Agile' PMP version and found that this preparation was invaluable. The questions are very, very similar to the exam I took, and the explanations you get after the simulated exams are clear and useful. Before the exam I felt relaxed and ready; I finished the exam 30 minutes before time, (and so went back and reviewed my answers) and finished in the top percentile. I am certain that this good result is thanks to PrepCast. Highly recommended. (BTW, I had also signed up for a very expensive online interactive course with a teacher; it was a total waste of money - just do this; you'll be fine)

PM PrepCast is the best available in the market hands down. I don't think there is no one in the market who can come close enough. All I did is, I attempted around 2000 PrepCast questions and scored 76% on an average, and reviewed the incorrectly answered questions twice. The questions in the exam are so similar, that for many questions, I have not read the entire question or all the options. I just understood the context and figured out the answer straight away. PM PrepCast made my job easy in an already gruelling exam, so much so that you don't even have time to think, I felt that I was in a war zone, and guess what? I passed the PMP Exam with 3 Above Target. I would like to thank Cornelius Fichtner and his entire team for preparing such awesome stuff.

Well, the real PMP exam is way too difficult and tricky, needing excellent time management skills when trying to answer 180 questions in 230 minutes, and that's where my SIMULATOR experience played a big role in passing the exam.

PrepCast SIMULATOR: I must admit it prepared me to face the challenge and pass the exam with "AT", in all 3 Domains.

Customer Service: responses to my queries were well received within the 24 hour period with proper resolution. Hence, a great experience!

Very strong recommendation for PrepCast SIMULATOR: provides explanation to the correct answer and why it is the best option, along with explanation on the incorrect answer choices. In parallel, a great learning experience on the incorrect answer choices i.e, where actually do these situations apply. These explanations are great study materials to be used for exam preparations!

I believe that one could pass this exam solely relying on these practice tests. They are thoughtful, at times frustrating, questions with thorough answers that will imprint the knowledge required to pass the PMP certification.

Project management PrepCast is the most professional and value-driven simulator (I have tried already other market leading simulator). Cornelius has given a human dimension to the simulator, every time i solve a quizz and i review my answers it seems like Cornelius is talking face-to-face. PrepCast is generous with information especially when sending daily tips for passing PMP exam with success.
Simulator gives the opportunity to tailor your training and follow up your results by providing valuable statistics. I really like the killing mistakes system where you can select to answer only to questions that you answered wrong.

PMP exam preparation training and exam lessons learned

Passed on my first attempt. Took the test at home.
Placed in the middle of the fourth quartile so a pretty good score.
Almost ran out of time in section 2 of the Exam and had a couple minutes to spare for review of the several questions I had marked in sections 1 & 3. Didn't change any of the answers after re-reading the questions.
I thought the questions were split percentage-wise closely as described in the PMI exam ground rules.
I had been scoring reliably in the >75% on all the practice test exam questions.
Used the PMBOK 6 PDF for the (clunky) word search function during practice test reviews more than the hardcopy PMBOK but did spend time reading the hardcopy too.
I first purchased and used a PMI prep program for 90 days and then changed for the last month and used the PrepCast on-line test bank and videos.
I never tried a 4-hour simulation test.
I preferred the PrepCast program because I could select the number of questions for each test that I wanted to take. I thoroughly reviewed my incorrect practice test answers.
The PrepCast questions also seemed more difficult and closer to the language and style of the actual exam questions.
Definitely was glad I spent a month with PrepCast and I think Cornelius' videos are very helpful.
