Brilliant service, facilities and aircraft. I was a visiting overseas pilot, and after getting the run around with other flight schools/hire companies Proteus was a breath of fresh air. Explained everything, assisted me with getting my insurance cover (something new to me as it is different in my home country). Aviation hire is normally always a pain, but Proteus make it easy. Highly recommend them.

Learnt to fly on the Piper Cherokee a few years ago. I was the slowest learner and the oldest in the group - mid 50ies to take up flying. I graduated with flying colors and now instrument training and on my way to fractional ownership in a cirrus. I learned to fly Cherokee’s, light sports, cirrus 20 and 22 all at this wonderful school.
. Fantastic instructors like Jesse, Bernard, Rachel, Sydney, Ely, Max all played their part!
Location - Haris and Dylan run the most family friendly flight school that caters to all and even offers substantial classroom lectures and monthly social events. This is a family of friendly aviators always willing to help and support the new trainee.
KSMO as an airport is just about the best location to enjoy the beauty of Southern California from above!

After scanning all flight schools in the area I landed here. The prices are fair, and the crew is awesome. Finished my PPL @ Proteus and moving on to my Instrument rating. Highly recommended.
