Great cafe in La Mesa that is in the middle of a cute walkable block.
The staff is super friendly and kind.
You'll find indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a window to pick up your takeaway orders. Mid-day seems to fill up the seats quickly, as I've experienced.

Specialty coffees are so good. The black sesame latte (with Oat milk) is amazing, it really hits the spot, and the pandan latte is a hidden gem (made with the actual leaf). Both are totally worth your visit to this place.

Oatmilk is the only alternative milk option.

Chia parfait is really good. Great little snack with your coffee. They also offer the chia parfait to-go in a fridge just before the cashier.

NOTE that Friday afternoons there is a farmers market in the middle of the town that may impact parking but is an enjoyable add-on if you stay.

I’ve been coming for years - The Hendersons are beautiful family who infused love into this business and it shows. The staff are wonderful and inviting and treat their guests with care.

Awesome place for live music. Definitely coming back to check it out for coffee! Will re-do stars for food and service, if I have to, when I come back but feel like that won't be necessary.

Love the people who work here, the majority are so sweet and personable. Foods great, coffee is great. If you can't wait in line, order online.

You do pay a premium for premium coffee and menu Items. I wish there was more space to sit is all.

I get the brown sugar cinnamon latte every time I come because it's my favorite. Highly recommend. Paired it with a scone!

The scones are unreal. Best scones I've ever had, and the butters are incredible as well. I love all the plants and flowers around the shop as well!:)

Coffee is alright and the food is really good but the staff makes me feel anxious and unwelcome, i have been there multiple times where the same cashier has made me feel stupid and rushed while ordering

If you want to have a coffee and that's all - here you can find some options but don't waste your time and money ordering food. $11 a small piece of bread with 3 little pieces of avocado and a bunch of argula on top - this was supposed to be an avocado toast. My husband asked for sandwich and the bacon was microwaved. Anyway, I would recommend this place for a coffee, ONLY!

I’m that guy that thinks scones are dry cookies. This place takes it to a new level. Moist, fluffy and so yummy. The butter is crazy too. I had maple cayenne and orange something. Staff is 100% in too. Love it

The atmosphere is welcoming and encouraging. The staff I'd always so sweet and everyone of them makes a point to remember me, the food is delicious (better then most Coffee shops I've been to) and the drinks are delicious. Crafted with care and never fail to hit the spot
