Very gracious hosts. Charlie and company make you feel like family. Great wine, great music, and great atmosphere.

Had an absolute blast on our visit here. Charlie is amazing and the atmosphere makes you feel immediately at home. And Wednesday night's open mic was a real treat. Thanks for a great visit:)

The gluten free flatbread pizza is wonderful!

Sold Charlie the owner my 8 channel pa head and now the sound system sounds great. I really love the flat bread. All of Charlie's food is top notch. I went with Jill Souza, and Sid Carr to watch Basura Blanca with Billy foppiano, Kevin Mc Cracken, Garth on stand up bass, and another musician that I just met that night so I don't remember his name. If you want a venue with great food, great music, and great wine, this is your place, you Rock Charlie!

OK! Such a little gem. Tiny place but so worth a visit. The atmosphere and wine are perfect. The owners & staff make it that much more special.

Stopped by to sample their beer, also enjoyed their hot pretzel with beer butter and beef sliders, all was very tasty.

A must visit when in Pismo. Very often with great live music of all genres. Even the occasional poetry evening! Charly Puffer, the owner is a true benchmark for hospitality. Reasonably priced, good food and great hospitality with an excellent local wine selection.

Very basic small bar with live music and enthusiastic group of local seniors dancing the evening away. Well, until 9: 30, cuz it bed time for us old folks!

This is no contest the best bar in Pismo and one of the best I’ve been to period. The owner Charlie rules and is clearly someone who is dedicated to creating an atmosphere of shenanigans. It’s got just the right amount of class but inside it’s all class.

What an unexpected fun pocket of Pismo Beach. The music is always so good, and the vibe is electrifying!

Puffers is a wonderful little jewel of the Central Coast and a “must” visit if you want to experience a genuine local vibe, complete with owner Charlie Puffer’s warm hospitality and his staff’s impeccable service. His chef prepares the tastiest small plate pairings to go with the wide selection of wines that are offered. Charlie is extremely knowledgeable about wines from around the world and he is most generous with his knowledge, but this is not the kind of place that feels snooty either. The atmosphere feels like you are somewhere between a loft in SoHo and a trendy blues club in Chicago; it is cozy and you will immediately feel at home. There is live music most nights and the musicians are some of the best. If you like to dance and the music is right, that’s what happens, sometimes inside and outside. I really cannot say enough good things about this place. You have to experience it for yourself to get the whole experience. You won’t be disappointed.
