Punjab Palace Cuisine of India reviews
16Ordered on doordash and exceeded my expectations! Service is 10/10! The chicken tiki masala is a must. It was delivered very quickly and their serving sizes are great as well.
I used to eat here every now and then until I saw a rat by the hall that goes to the kitchen area.disgusting
Newly renovated/decorated. Service and ambiance was previously at par, but now owner Raj has taken this place to new heights! An absolutely stunning atmosphere. The staff coordinates very well and decent wait times upon order. There's plenty of seating, also. Hands down, THIS place takes the #1 spot for Indian dining in the Inland Empire!
Fantastic lamb vindaloo.yall people are haters aside from the look of the place its great.is hood riverside.sorry it's not the Ritz
Overpriced, no greeting, they were painting the ceiling while we were eating next to them, they just changed the color of food same taste but different names.
First and last time going to this place.
We ended up here on a random whim for dinner. We used to come for the lunch buffet but I think that went away after covid. We were the only ones in the restaurant when we first got there, with their TVs blaring their Indian music shows. We ordered the chicken Tikka Masada, the chicken korma, the tandoori garlic shrimp, alongside the cheese filled naan. Everything was delicious and came out quickly. The one thing though is that they never asked us if we wanted to get any beverages and seemed bothered when we asked for to go containers for our leftovers as well as asking for another order of Naan to go as well (it never came). The leftover veggies from the garlic shrimp made delicious egg/breakfast tacos by the way!
Definitely recommend the chicken Tikka masala!
I can't get enough of this DELICIOUS FOOD! Today I tried a spicy Lamb dish and it was the best ever! The Lamb literally melted in my mouth and the sauce was excellent too. We tried the spinach and cheese dish and ooooweeeee! Again, best food ever!:)
It is the best Indian food in the inland empire. Authentic is the word. The lamb dishes are the ones to go for.
My absolute favorite place to go, typically I order the chicken tikka masala, garlic naan and for dessert gulab jamun. It’s delicious, authentic, they use original ingredients, great portion sizes enough to take home, and affordable. Love coming here and I will recommend to anyone looking to eat Indian Cuisine. Your palate needs to be open to eating spices; spices and spice (if you order medium or hot)
Almost Everytime I order they always forget items that I have paid for. It has happened on more than 3 occasions. The food is good, but make sure they actually give you the correct order because they constantly mess up on the To go orders. To Whoever is packaging up the to go orders, please start taking the time to double check and make sure all items are in the bag going forward.
You can't beat their lunch special, you just can't. It's the perfect blend of price, buffet options, and food quality.
It's also my go to place if I want to introduce someone to Indian food cause their buffet allows folks to try as many different options without the fear of having to settle with one dish and it's also great when for when you're in a group with different dietary needs like vegans and non vegans
Although the food was good but their customer service is really poor and bad. So my husband was really hungry so we decided to check this place’s food as we recently bought a house in riverside so I called them before going there to make shahi paneer, garlic naan and seekh kabab so that we don’t have to wait for the food as my hubby was super hungry and we decided to order more once we reached there. So we were 5 - me, hubby and our 3 kids so when we reached there the uncle ji over there I think he is the owner there was very rude as he said in our Indian language (5 bnde shahi paneer khan ge) it means that we are 5 people are there to eat only shahi paneer which was vvv very rude and arrogant to us that moment we want to go back and try other Indian restaurants but as my hubby was really hungry and all the restaurants were closing soon so we went there and had dinner. I will give no stars for customer’s service and 4 stars for the food and I don’t know whether we will go there again in future or not. That’s it
March 2023: was excited to order first time as we came across this place for the first time in years. But Caught some stomach bug after eating chicken Biriyani. Chicken was old I believe and too many fibrous tissue like a fibrous chewey and had to spit it out. Recovered after 2-3 days. I’ll never come back to this place.
I recently had fish pakora, Aloo Gobi, lentil soup, and Mango Lassi. While the rice was nicely cooked and fluffy, I found the other dishes to be somewhat underwhelming.
The fish pakora seemed like it had been prepared in advance and was not crispy, but instead chewy and tough. Some of the skins were too tough to eat. The Aloo Gobi lacked the flavor that I was hoping for, and the lentil soup was overly salty. The Mango Lassi was alright, but it tasted more like it was made from mango juice than real mango.
Although I am not an expert in Indian cuisine, I have tried other restaurants in the Riverside area that offer better-tasting food. As a result, I am unlikely to return to this restaurant.
Beware of this place!
-Took them over fifteen minutes to take our orders
-Saw a chef with a bandaged up finger cooking, which is frankly disgusting
-Overpriced and definitely not fresh ingredients
-Both I and my friend got food poisoning here and threw up multiple times afterward. I even got the chills!
Take your money somewhere else.
Had lunch special. It's served on one divided metal platter. Food was so so, small portions with lots of sauce. Platter was supposed to come with salad but we didn't get any
When pointed this out she said, "it wasn't ready"!
Service so so. Restaurant was very cold on a cold day no heating.
