Punjabi Tandoor reviews
17The food was okay, it wasn't like "I have to go back" good. It was cheap, though, and so for that, I would say that it's better than fast food.
Authentic, great prices and very fast and friendly service. 8 of us had dinner here and were all happy.
The quality of this place has really gone downhill. The chicken tikka masala and chicken makhani were both SUPER watered down. Hardly any flavor. The rice pudding was crunchy and watery as well.
Personally I love the "buffet" food. Chicken Makhani and Rogan josh are fantastic. Always friendly and decent prices.
The food is really trash. It seems like egg plant and chicken has the same curry. It is more like a cheap Indian buffet with has below average food. Please don’t even try it as waste of money
.
Except for the name of the restaurant and the dress of staff, nothing is Punjabi.not tasty
Incredible food! We had the chicken makhani, mushroom masala, vegetable masala, and chicken Tikka masala. They were all great! Will definitely be back!
They have the best paneer burji I have tasted. I live in the Bay Area and I make it a point to visit this place everytime I’m visiting San Diego!
The worst food I ever tasted. Chicken kadai was a spoiler, chicken biryani was too bad. Waste of money
Leaving 3 stars because I've had good food here before. Placed an order for my usual at Indian restaurants (butter chicken masala), spent nearly $60. The food unfortunately had no flavor, like a few ingredients were missing and my family wound up having to eat microwave dinner from my freezer. Really bummed about this. I called in the order about 25 minutes before closing and was asked to rush and be there in 10 minutes of my order. Not sure if the food tasted the way it did because they were in a rush to close, but I would rather not have my order taken at all than have to waste food and money. Hopefully this was a one off but I'm hesitant to order from here again.
We ordered takeout and it was disappointing. If I were the owner, I would either change the chef or shut the place down.
Firstly apologies to all the Americans who eat here, Indian food is not the watery garbage that they serve here, picked up a chicken curry today, seems like they made it from leftovers of biriyani water, a kitchen towel would soak all the "curry" up, downright pathetic, the gravy served with raita at charminar is 5 times better and thick, all in all my puppy seemed to really like it.
The food literally was tasteless. We had chicken tikka masala and rice and some Naan. Except for the naan that tasted like naan, the rest tasted like chalk. I would not recommend this place.
Excellent flavor and good portion sizes and very good value for money. Nice people, I’m from the UK originally and know good Indian food when I taste it. Ordered both chicken dishes.
Food used to be very good. Now it's taken a turn for the worse. Staff not very friendly. They stare at you in an intimidating way.
The food was really bad, quantity was very less and worst of it all… food had gone bad! It started smelling horrible as soon as containers were opened. Naan was literally under cooked. Totally disappointed with this restaurant. Never going back here!
