Super happy Rositas is in our neighborhood. Pupusas and flautas are my favorite. Super consistent and always yummy. Atole de elote is delicious. Rice is always moist and the beans are hella good.

The only reason I gave it 3 stars for atmosphere is the location - I probably wouldn’t hang out there late at night. But I was able to park close, hop out and get a vegan burrito late on a Wednesday night- it was delicious- loaded with fresh veggies and I got two sides of salsa and pickled carrots and jalapeños on the side.

Good food, the staff always respectful, great place to pull over and grab food and be on my way quickly, down side your surroundings are, crackheads, dope fiends & winos, lol

I ordered 6 tacos all asada. They came out dry I'm barely chased like they had seasoning. For the price I expected better. I also had to wait A while in order to even get the tacos.

This place is excellent. Their pupusas are great, their tacos/burritos are amazing, and the yucca fries are fantastic. Staff are really friendly too.

The only downside is location. They're open late, but I don't really recommend going after dark because it gets pretty rough. Even during the day when I've been yelled at by people who hang out at the liquor store and the street nearby. To-go is definitely the way to go.

Great authentic pupusas! Affordable and well worth. Order to-go. No need to wait in line in that part of Oakland.

Great prices, fast and friendly service. LOVE the popusas. Good vegetarian options. Highly recommend their Agua Frescas. My favorite is the passion fruit.

This is 2 blocks from my apartment and they are usually amazing. Until tonight. I ordered for my roommate and decided on a couple of chicken tacos with onions and extra cotija. The woman taking orders recognized me and remembered that I will not eat cilantro on anything. I ordered and before I could ask them to omit the cilantro she asked me, "no cilantro, rigjt? " I responded with thank you, no cilantro at all. Super impressed. I'm freezing my a$$ off waiting for my order, drop a second tip in the jar because I appreciate that she remembers me. My order is finally finished. So back to my apartment through the freezing cold night. Give roommate her food, open mine and see the biggest most disgusting pile of cilantro ever seen on the planet earth. I am super pi$$ed off. I'm a chef, which the reason for my being so impressed by the woman remembering me after 4 months. I watched her write NO CILANTRO on the ticket. There is so much cilantroyou can't even see the chicken or cotija, that I paid extra for. I'm going to smoke a spliff before I go back and return them so I don't lose my temper.

If you want to actually receive the order that you place and pay for go somewhere else. Anywhere else. This is the third time something very similar to what happened today has happened to me at that truck. I'm a chef. If I make the same mistake 3 times I would get fired and I would deserve to get fired. Since when does no cilantro mean 2 whole bunches of barely chopped cilantro dumped on top of everything that you asked for

Pupusas are not that great, I’ve had better. Kind of chose this as a last resort because the place I wanted to order from was about to close. Ate here one time, didn’t like it, thought it would be better this time and it wasn’t. The red sauce they have for the pupusas tastes like grass. Try it, you’ll see what I’m talking about. I would rather hold off till the next day to get pupusas from the best place instead of getting food from here again. Really dont want to try anything else from here either to be disappointed again. It’s a big NO for me. The best pupusas I like that are in Oakland are la reinas pupusas in the 90’s

As 2023 presses on I continue to try new places to eat. Today I stopped here for some tacos. The parking was fine (due to the fact it was mid day). It's conveniently next to a local liquor store just in case you want additional snacks. I purchased 3 tacos (beef, shrimp and chicken). The shrimp was the best taco though it was 2 dollars more. The only downside to this place is that they don't sell chips and salsa. That's a must for me

This taco truck offers a wonderful selection of El Salvadoran food, including a variety of pupusas. Their portions are great, often becoming two meals. Their prices are refreshingly affordable as well.

I've been going to this pupusa truck since it opened. I know the owner, the guy missing part of a finger, quite well and he always treats me nice as we catch up.

I mainly go here for pupusas as they are excellent - not burnt like other spots. I usually get the zucchini ones or cheese. Sometimes if I'm really hungry I'll get the carne asada fries or some tacos as well. Horchata and aguas frescas are served as well.

I pay in cash out of habit as it used to be cash only. I believe cards are accepted now.

The Salvadoran food is much better than their Mexicano food, but what would you expect from a pupusa truck?

There is a tent right next to Oakland Liquors with makeshift seating for those who want to hang out in "the hood" and eat their meal. This is my neighborhood as well as my mom's old neighborhood, so I know the area quite well. There's a bunch of riff raff around since it's close to E. 14 (International Blvd) and all the "working girls. " So as a result, if you eat here at night especially in the summer, expect to have some scenery! If you are from out of town expect to receive some looks.

I've had others say they like other pupusa spots however those don't taste right to me - they always are burnt to a crisp whereas this truck takes them off the grill in time. And the toppings are not too spicy and you can request salsa as well.

Workers will call out yr order when it is ready for pickup.

If you are the party type of person, you can go to Oakland Liquors and buy wraps or cones, some drink and such to go with yr food.

They've opened a restaurant as well so they must be doing something right!

Tip the workers as they work through the sweltering heat and freezing cold and are often not treated well by customers.

I have been coming here for over a year. I would have given them 3 stars in the beginning. Their tamales are great and thier pupusas are passable. The rest is a little less then basic. They forget half of my order a lot and I have to drive all the way back to get it with only a sorry. I explained this last time that it has been more than a couple occasions of this happening even though you repeat the order to them in Spanish when you arrive to pick up. They take their time getting it ready and then when you get home it is not all there. They do nothing to try and make it up to you. "Everyone make mistakes she says". Yes my dear, but when you make the same mistake over and over and only offer an I'm sorry and eye rolls then it's not a mistake. This is doing your job with no care. This is not caring about the business you work for. I also ordered enchiladas that were more discusting than a marie calendar frozen enchilada. I will find another food truck to go to. Will not be going back. They lost a long term customer.
