I dined here last night for dinner (it’s been saved on my places to go folder) the setting was very cozy and cute for a small group of friends/family or even a date night. Although I didn’t have a reservation + it was the night before Thanksgiving, they were nice enough to accommodate me. My waiter was very pleasant and gave me a few menu highlights and I did mention to him that I read the reviews prior to coming and people say that the pasta & mozz sticks were a must! I wasn’t ready to eat anything too heavy right away so I started with a Greek goddess salad which was literally the best vegan salad that I’ve ever had, paired with a great balanced glass of Tuscan that he recommended as well. After the salad I decided that I wanted more wine and ordered another Tuscan bottle that was on their holiday menu - Dante V ciliegio, there was a mini mistake and I was given the wrong bottle at first but I pointed it out and they were sweet enough to let me keep the glass and swapped the correct bottle. The Dante V was so good that I ordered another to go! After an hour elapsed I decided I finally would have a main dish, I was trying to decide between their holiday menu because it included whipped mashed potatoes and wouldn’t be here after tomorrow or their pasta, the waiter kept swearing by their pasta and so did other reviewers on here. I got the carbonara.to be honest it wasn’t to my liking. There was a lot of different flavors interlacing salty sweet and lemony, I asked if I can get a cacio e Pepe + Mozz sticks instead which was a bit better but bitter, that might’ve been the pepper? Like not in a spicy sense because I love spice but just like aloe kind of bitter so it wouldn’t have been my go to either. I took some of the marinara dipping from my mozz sticks and mixed it in the cacio and made my own little concoction that reduced the bitterness and it helped! Idk the pasta was a nice consistency but the flavors were confusing and I regret not trying the holiday plate cause I really wanted mashed potatoes. So I didn’t swap the cacio because I was already getting full and I didn’t want to waste any more food, lastly those Mozzerella sticks were all that they were worked up to be! The breading was nicely flavored and crunchy + the mozz had a nice consistency! So good I ate em while they were piping hot haha! I had no room for dessert but my overall experience was nice, the only issue I had was the pasta flavors. If you’re very specific with flavor preferences with your pasta I wouldn’t recommend getting it unless you try a sample off of your friend or whoever you’re out with and decide for yourself (I was solo) other than that, it is a nice place to dine in!

All around great, food was delicious, very friendly staff. Our server Cody was wonderful. And whatever you do, don't miss out on the mozzarella sticks!

This place is amazing and one of the best vegan restaurants in the country. The cashew ricotta appetizer is off the charts. Great atmosphere and really great service.

Fresh, delicious and best of all, everything is vegan friendly! The sweetest staff run this place. It's definitely a bit of a splurge, but if you're looking for amazing Italian comfort food and lovely wine, look no further! I highly recommend their carbonara

Excellent vegan pizza and pasta with quality and fresh ingredients. Staff is very friendly and service is fast. The vibe indoors is a bit more interesting than on the curb terrace. I recommend their calzone.

Pura Vita never misses! I've had pastas, pizzas, and plenty of apps and every single one has been absolutely stellar. Most recently, I shared a cacio e pepe with my partner that was so good we had to order a second!

We had a WONDERFUL experience here. We were hella late to our reservation (405 black magic) and the hostx was SO sweet and accommodating about it (sorry we didn’t get your name). Our server Ben was lovely- friendly and funny- with the perfect balance of attentive service with leaving us to flirt in peace. The food was also gobsmackingly good! We had the buca de pepe and truffle pasta made gluten free and two wines that were the best things we have tasted in the US in years. Thank you so much for such a fabulous meal!

The first time I had the baked ricotta I cried. I am not exaggerating, tears welled up in my eyes and I achieved a higher state of being. The staff is wonderful and will give you recommendations if you need them, or give you space to enjoy your time. There is nothing bad on the menu and it is a life goal to try everything, both food and drinks.

This is the best vegan Italian food I have ever had in Los Angeles! Truly the best, I drive from Calabasas to West Hollywood for this place. Ask for Edith, she has been amazing and super professional every time we visited! Good one! Love it!

Being 1st generation Italian, AND vegan, I don't go to Italian restaurants because of the obvious. My best friend surprised me on my birthday & brought me here and my life has never been the same since. I literally dream of their food on a gd weekly basis it's that delic.

The best vegan Italian restaurant in LA. I tried every other single place - this one is the only one I want to return again and again.

Interior design not so good except for the bar, but outdoor patio and music is amazing.

Food, food, food. Everything is super delicious, carbonara pasta and mushroom truffle pizza are the best ever. Cesar salad is great, made same dish at home.

Beer/Wine/Sider selection is great.
Everyone is always friendly and nice!

Thank you!

Absolutely stunning Italian food. Gluten free white pizza with truffle, mushroom and pesto was just out of this world. Gf bruschetta was amazing too, and then my hubby had the traditional calzone. Holy cow it was so big! Our waitress Hazel was really informed and friendly and even shared some tips on where we could go hiking near by (we're from out of town). Excellent service and food!

Excellent, excellent, excellent. We sat on the patio outside, the playlist was great, loved every song. There were heaters so it was comfortable out there. We ordered eggplant parm, mushroom & lentil meatballs, and the cacio e pepe. We also ordered a coffee, tiramisu, and some type of donuts with Nutella sauce for dessert. The dishes were smaller than I imagined, but it worked out because we ordered so much food and just shared between the two of us. In order from best to not best (because everything was so good) I'd say number one was the cacio e pepe, then the eggplant parm, then the meatballs. The pepe was garlicy and creamy, so good! And the eggplant parm was crispy and flavorful. The meatballs were good too, just didn't really stand out next to the other items. The tiramisu was to die for and the donuts were amazing as well. I can't wait to come back and try everything else the menu has to offer.

Really fun spot. So fun getting to order off of two menus. The pizza is good but not amazing. I loved the cesar salad.

Upscale all vegan Italian restaurant. Try the cacio e pepe and the pistachio gelato. Also, the mint lemonade is worth mentioning. So refreshing.

I truly can’t explain how amazing this place is. We eat gluten free and we ordered gluten free pasta and the gluten free ciabatta and I couldn’t stop talking about how good everything tasted while we ate it. Not to mention it was all vegan? ! Beyond impressed! The potatoes were great too!

This place is pure magic. The food is amazing and dining outside adds a little extra touch. The head chef on special occasions creates an enticing tasting menu with wonderful wine pairings. The staff is welcoming and wonderful. It has definitely been a spot I’m happy to regular.

Amazing tasty food for both vegans and non vegans. Best part too is the drinks. This place is now my favorite go to place for sure. Our mixologist was also very entertaining and knowledgeable about all the drinks he was making and I came out knowing a lot about tequila. Love this place, and will highlight recommend. Mustttt try!
