Pyramid Lake Emigrant Landing reviews
8Extremely friendly staff! The three employees I encountered were VERY friendly. I got excellent service from the time I called on the phone to find out about the lake for my birthday. I met the lady employee named Susan that I talked to on the phone. She was as friendly in person as she was on the phone and is helpful as can be. Thank you for making my birthday a very pleasant one with the stay at your Lake. And the stars in the black sky at night how relaxing it was. It was exactly how you told me.
We read the reviews beforehand about getting there early to get a boat so we came the day before to scope out the site and boats. I have to say that their "fleet" is pretty worn out and there are only two decent pontoon boats which are the Deluxe ones. The rest are wood seats, metals seats or ripped cushion seats. The staff was nice and helpful. The store has what you need and the $12 entry fee was reasonable. They are flexible in allowing dogs and swimming which met our needs. We arrived at 6 am and we're the first ones there and were able to secure the best Deluxe pontoon. We were happy with pontoon and the lake. They did confirm they will lock the gates if they reach lake. Capacity with no walk ins so plan to get your group there earlier. The one big thing that needs improvement is that there are no ladders or other options to get back into the pontoon boat if you get out to swim. Even two of our young fit group had a hard time getting in. That would have made the swimming experience so much nicer.
Really a nice place for friends & family gatherings. Perfect place for jetskiing, fishing, boating, picnicking & camping. The staff was very friendly & helpful with directions or with anything else pertaining to the lake.
It cost $12 per car to enter and you have to come out before 4: 45pm:) It is quiet and nice place to chill and do fishing and boating.
Pyramid lake is very serene. You have to pay for parking. It has tons and tons of picnic tables with BBQ options all over the park. It's best for boating and fishing. There is no cellular reception if you go beyond first parking lot, hence plan accordingly in case if you are expecting any urgent calls.
Don't bother calling in with questions you will be met with rudeness. I am camping nearby and had hoped to find out where to rent a boat however when prying for answers on pricing and the conversation turned nasty, next time I'll just go with the flow instead of wasting their time calling.
Great place to spend a day with the family and not deal with the hundreds of boats on Castaic
Lake open year round the best! It's a reservoir always full! Spacious.it's a natural social distancing.
The go-to place learn covid hammer dance! No worries about getting a virus here.keep it a secret! They only allow 150 trailers. Happy Fourth of July everyone!
