Really liked the atmosphere here. I guess they were short staffed today so it took a little while to get a drink. The guy who helped us was friendly tho. I really like the bar stools they were stylish and comfortable. Next time I'll get some food. Just went for a drink and some ambiance

Me and my fiancée came on a Thursday evening because of the 4.1 stars it received on Google, but what a mislead this was!

The place seemed understaffed with a non-personable waiter who often neglected us. The tables were sticky. We weren't offered straws for our drinks, when our meals came we had to ask him for utensils, and had to flag him down for service.

We first ordered a water and a skinny margarita ($13) that came in a whisky glass and was very imbalanced.

The food was pricey and terrible! My fiancée ordered the Carnitas ($20) which was very bland, barely warm, and tasted as if the pork was sitting out all day under a heat lamp. The refried beans were covered in stale cheese, the rice was cold and mushy, and the guacamole was turning brown! We tried to get authentic verde salsa on the side, which was an extra charge ($3), only to find out it was store bought Herdez brand.

I ordered the Q'bole Wet Burrito ($20). It was lukewarm, the meat was sour, and the overall taste was very bland.

We tried to power through the meals but, after realizing that we could get sick eating these poorly prepared dinner plates, that possibly had bacteria, we decided to close out and eat at a REAL Mexican restaurant (a.k. A.literally anywhere else).

We would give it 0 stars but simply cannot. We're not writing this to personally attack the staff because we were offered a 20% discount however, this restaurant needs major improvements to live up to its description of serving authentic inspired Mexican food.

Some of the worst Mexican food I've ever tasted. Chips looked and tasted store bought and old. Server got part of the order wrong so that person had to wait before they could eat.

Food average honestly it is not fair to rate mexican american place being a mexican because lets face it not many places are up there in sac and also has to do with what lart of Mexico u r from so I have to say better than most not authentic mexican places.
Margaritas mmmm ok

Had great vegan burritos here. They were so big! Great margaritas, chips, salsa, and guacamole. The service was top notch. Our orders appeared instantly. Can't wait to return. Lots to do nearby in Old Folsom too.

I used to come here all the time and the food in the past has always been good. Unfortunately it really has gone down hill. It's was very hard to recieve service once we were sitting. The waitresses were sitting at a table on their phones and would get up to check on you if you called them over. My friend waited on her drink for over 20 min, just to be told they couldn't make it because their blender was broken, and our food really had no flavor and a bitter taste. No one at our table finished it.

Our experience here has been very good. We like sitting at the bar, usually sharing the trio combination fajitas. Easily enough food for two average eaters. The flavors are good and the bartender, Fernando, is very attentive to every customers needs. Actually, we've found the entire staff to be attentive. Drinks are made well and the beer is cold! Prices are reasonable with a comfortable atmosphere that's not to bright or to dark. Chilling on the outdoor patio/balcony on a weekend afternoon is very relaxing.

One of my family's favorite places to eat Mexican food like burritos in Historic Old Folsom! Their food is delicious, the service fast and friendly and the balcony provides a beautiful view of Sutter Street - especially during the Christmas season with all the lights.

Their sangria is the best! The bartender, server and busser were fanatic! We went on a Wednesday night then again Thursday night. We'll definitely go again.

We were recommended here by our driver and we’re so excited! Unfortunately the food was very disappointing. The bean dip was refried beans microwaved with grated cheese on top. The red snapper was barley on the plate after searching through all the onions I found a small overcooked dry piece of fish. We told our waiter the food was beyond disappointing she did nothing to try and apologize. We then asked to speak with a manger. The manager spoke to us as if we had no idea how good should taste and basically said that it was our own fault that the food was so nasty. Worst costumer service followed by worst food. Stay clear and spend your money elsewhere

They do not provide salsa with the food. The only way to get any salsa is to pay $3 for chips and salsa. You cannot buy the salsa on its own. The bowl of salsa that comes with the chips is meager at best and not even enough for one plate of food or the chips you are forced to order with it. We ordered a plate of nachos and they didn't come with salsa either despite being a plate of mostly chips. This is the first time I have been to Mexican restaurant that did not provide salsa, most provide chips and salsa for free. Besides that the food is so-so, not worth the premium price they charge at all. La Rosa Blanca and La Taqueria Favorita are much much better.

Tried the huevos rancheros.
Warm corn tortillas smeared with reconstituted pinto beans, two fried eggs covered with enchilada sauce next to a pile of lettuce.

Expensive 7&7 cocktail.

I dont plan on returning.

Food has changed for the worse.

I was shocked that they put what appeared to be 8-12 ounces of diced carrots in our Beef Fajitas. There was a little bit of Bell Peppers and about 4-6 ounces of flank steak. The waitress was deceptive and uphold me as I ordered a side of beans and she said ok, you want the appetizer, I said a side of beans and she brought the appetizer, a bowl of refried beans and cheese for $11! Food tasted ok. Tortillas were small and only four for an order so had to order multiples. One margarita and one "side" and fajitas was over $61! Plus tip. I fed four the next day at barbecue for $62 and ate better. Very disappointed with the carrot fillers and the deceptive upsell.

The food is ok but not great but the outdoor seating is great. Decent drink options. Heard they are serving Sutter street grill's menu here but haven't tried it.

The reason I was disappointed in this restaurant was that the food all looked beyond yummy and I was ready to dive in, but.none of it had a lot of flavor. It just tasted really bland.

I don't know why it took me so long to write a review, my wife and I have been coming here for years. The service is always exceptional. The quality of the food is great and with good sized portions

Bad service,
The food looks like prison food and it was way to expensive for just a burrito and the drinks are way to small to be a medium. Q bole is a bad place to eat food go somewhere else then here

Nice place. A little over priced on the food tho. Three street tacos were $10. I had the nachos at $12 plus $2 for asada. Good, but over priced.
