The owner is very unfriendly and the herbs are of poor quality. The store looks dirty and no one is managing it. The packaging of herbs is worn out, there is no expired day and no quality assurance at all. The owner doesn't seem to want to do business and has a bad attitude. I hope you don't go to this store.

I'm very glad that I've found this little herbal medicine place. I think they're also famous for acupuncture, but I mainly just look for Chinese herbal medicine for overall health and balances. Dr. Shan is very professional and patience. His associate, Lucy is also very nice and helpful. They don't speak much English but would try their best to explain things to you. Or you can just use Google translate if you want. But you don't really need to say much, because traditional Chinese medicine diagnoses through listening to your pulses, seeing your tongue, ears, etc. Afterward, in general, you need to take 1-2 weeks (or more) of the grounded herbs. They also have some on-counter Chinese medicine or herbs. If you ask, Lucy would explain them to you but wouldn't expect you or force you to buy from them. In fact, after she told me their functionality, she then told me that I also can purchase them at other stores, not necessary from them. She is so funny. =)

Store looks nothing like pictures, smells like marijuana, staff is rude and unfriendly, unwilling to help Americans, pretend not to understand English then all of a sudden start talking perfectly in english, ask for over the counter herb that is readily available without prescription at CVS, rite aid, sprouts etc and translated through Google to chinese name of herb for him since he didn't understand the English name and says no you need a prescription. I said no I don't it's legal medicinal herb, flower for liver and he says I don't know what that is, why you come here, buy somewhere else, we not give to you without prescription. First time in this store, was excited to see the place but the people are unknowledgeable, unfriendly, inexperienced and apparently only willing to help fellow chinese. His lack of knowledge is extremely dangerous considering it's a basic chinese herb safe for everyday use. Disgusted by the Asian hate for Americans at this facility.
