The owner is very professional and nice. I will be taking my cars to him in the future.

The employee was nice enough, and the shaded seating area with free water was nice too. But at times, employees were shouting and cursing loudly at each other, which was very distracting. Also, their website advertises under $40 for “most cars, ” but the man there didn’t bother to tell me until the very end that he was going to charge me almost $100! He said it was “giving the machine problems, ” even though the car passed smog perfectly fine. How does a Miata not fall under “most cars? ”

*scam alert* the most precise way to describe the scam this place runs is as follows: a lie by omission. They have an ongoing coupon out there for smog check (their own website and other places) which states "trucks and vans extras" but says nothing of SUVs, of any size. They have no exclusion for SUVs printed on said coupon when they are nearly 50% of vehicle sales in orange county over the last decade but then ask for $20 over the coupon price (so ~$60 not $~40 as on coupon; as other reviewers have alluded to). The owner will be hard pressed, if he chooses to leave any comment on my review as to how any 4 cylinder suv built on a sedan chassis costs him any more time or money to run a star certified smog test (on the same software with the same machine in the same amount of his time) vs the average sedan. Because it doesn't. Don't come here if you want to work with someone running an honest business.

Also, I visited a place in orange near where I have a business which did the check for just more thann $40 plus $8 certificate, $50 all-in. And he explained the details of how much time/labor/resources the star designated check requires. I refuse to believe his lies that being deceptive is "a custom as in all coupons for all smog stations. " Lies are lies.

I take all four of my cars here for oil changes and smog checks. Hisham is always on top of everything. Not a full service place but he will let you know if he sees anything your full mechanic should have caught. Service here is quick, honest and good value.

He prices the Smog Check based on the type of the car you have.

Love this place! This is how all businesses should be run! Efficient, quick, friendly, reasonably priced, and professional! Highly recommend it!
This is the second time my family used Quality Smog Check. First, my husband took his car there a few months ago, and today I got my car smogged there.
You can't beat his price, especially for a STAR station! I called a few places and his price was the best. Paid $46 out the door for smog after a $37 coupon that I had printed online.

I called before I went there, he told me to just show up. There was no wait. The guy was quick and very professional. I was in and out in 10-15 mins! I waited there and he had a fridge full of water, soda, and chocolates - bonus!
Highly recommend the place!
