Que Sazón!, San Diego CA

I probably should have stuck with the fruit and drinks - chicken torta was pretty boring, tasted ok but that and a soda, $17.xx out the door it was meh at best.

Que Sazon is a very small Mexican Torta restaurant which is perfect for takeaway or a quick snack. They have a very small patio area with just 5 seats so unless you get lucky plan on takeaway. I had the Mango Tostada with fish which was a reasonable size, lots of mango chunk, very tasty but a little to spicy for a lightweight like me. The Agua Fresca was very tasty and refreshing and helped counter the spicy serrano sauce.

This place is probably great for those who can patiently wait, but guaranteed slow service if you want anything quicker than 15-30 minutes.

I order a fruit dessert and they have me a cup of corn. I got rip off. Never go there again. They did not offer to exchange $8.75 for cup of corn

It’s very pleasant eating at this location. Fresh food, very tasty, super clean, affordable, friendly staff. Amazing for special requests. Definitely destination in town

Drove out of my way to get here because of the reviews and was well worth it. Small street stand in old town. I had the pierna adobada (pork) torta and a fresh fruit salad. The torta was excellent and very flavorful. All the fruit in the fruit salad was perfectly ripe and sweet. Contained mango, pineapple, watermelon and cumcumber. Highly recommend giving it a try

We were staying in San Diego for 2 days only and we went to this place two times!

The chamango drink we tried was decent. It just tasted like mango slushy, and the flavors didn't mix even after stirring.

It looked awesome though.

This place is great! No frills, excellent food, very nice people. Lots of nice options. The Mexican shrimp cocktail and hot dogs are great!

Was recommended the pork torta, nachos and mexicano hotdog. Everyone in my group was raving about the food and we can’t wait to come back next time we’re in the area!

I ordered the fruit cup which had lots of mango and watermelon and also pineapple and cucumber. It was very affordable and absolutely delicious and refreshing. There's a cozy sitting area which maybe 6 people can sit. The lady was very friendly and seemed to really enjoy taking care of the customers. I'm glad I stopped by.

Had the fish/shrimp ceviche tostada. Best authentic ceviche I’ve had. Lots of flavor and lemon!

Great eatery. You pay for what you ask for. I had a chicken torta and a Mexicano hot dog. Chicken torta was amazing and the Mexican hotdog had a bit too much sauce but all in all. It was an amazing experience. Very friendly staff and service was fast. Please give this place a try.
