I came here as a transfer from a facility that couldn’t deal with my problem. I had had a TIA. They found a 90% clogged carotid artery, and I needed a carotid endarterectomy. While getting that set up, they found that my heart was slow, waiting 4 seconds between beats while sleeping. I was set up for a pace maker by that afternoon and was able to get the carotid endarterectomy the following day. The staff were all incredible, and treated me with love, care and professionalism. Thanks to everyone here, I am alive and at home when, at one time, my future looked in doubt. I love the Queen of the Valley, and heartily recommend. Five well earned stars.

I came to the radiology department to have a SIMPLE X-ray. No consultation with any doctor. They charged my insurance $368!

Imagine if I had gone to the ER and I had received some treatment/procedure.

This hospital is all around the worst hospital Ive ever been too, I came here three times already giving it the benefit of the doubt but each time leaves me even more distraught than the last time; wondering why is this facility even operating. The Nurses and Doctors seem very uneducated, and unskilled. I took my husband to the ER two days ago because he had developed a rash that looked a lot like chicken pox. He was seen by nurse practitioner because no physician was on sight at the time.she diagnosed him with scabies but she said she couldn't find the mite tracks on his body. We weren't convinced at all that it was scabies so we ended up going to Urgent care in american canyon, the doctor there said that it was actually hand and foot mouth disease. This hospital is a waste of your time, and it sad that theres not a lot of options for hospitals in napa to go to instead. But you are def better off driving to vallejo to go to kaiser, or fairfield hospital.

Absolutely the worst hospital I have encountered. The ER is short staffed. Often only one doctor available and few nurses. The wait time is not very long to be triaged but after that, you are in for a long wait. By the time you see a doctor, it's highly likely you will receive sub par care.

The ER staff is clearly overwhelmed. They don’t listen to your needs. The nurses ignore the alarms from the machines tracking your vitals. They ignore the patient call alerts. Horrible just horrible.

If you are admitted, you will likely find the nurses very friendly and professional. Unfortunately the doctors upstairs are just as bad as the emergency room physicians.

I spent two days here and it was a constant fight with doctors to get them on the same page. Constant changes to medication. Often the medication and doses were wrong.

In my case the doctors kept referring to an MRI scan and report that were clearly were unusable.

Steer clear of this hospital. Find another such as St. Helena hospital.

There is no excuse for routinely overcharging patients by thousands of dollars, and refusing to make corrections after their errors have been pointed out. How has this place not been shut down for fraud?

Extremely dissspointed to say the least. Some great nurses, social worker was very helpful. The hospital just treated the symptoms for my 80 year old mother, never ruled out the underlying cause of her symptoms. Just did the basics and referred us to a GI. They SHOULD have addressed the GI while in the hospital and should have done a Chest x Ray.
Basic standard of care was minimal

Horrible experience! I still have night terrors more than 2 years later. How about NOT profiling people! It was not my choice to have an injured back and a pcp that never sent me to a specialist. And to look up my minor children's files, despicable. Kept my family out. Not one person I know that saw what I went through for months after that will EVER show up at your business. Nurses are mean!

This place is a gigantic ripoff! Got a $105 cortizone shot and was charged $105 for the shot and $5728 for the use of emergency room to receive the shot! This is outrageous and even more outrageous that insurance companies agree to pay it! It's no wonder that medical costs and medical insurance costs are so high! We have no one but ourselves to blame.

I came in as a sitter for a patient of mine (I work at another facility). I asked for help since my patient wanted to use the restroom and I've never been here before. She used a very sarcastic tone with me saying "You don't know how to unplug an IV? GREAT. " As she walked away. I responded with "Yes, because I don't work here and that's why I'm asking for help. " Thank you for making me feel incompetent.:)

I was born on that hospital and lived in Napa first 30 years of my life and it was excellent. Turning 30 (the exact day) I broke my neck and was air flighted to the Queen. I am not sure if people are assessing these nurses and facilitys quite the right way. I had Dr. Morgessi (sp?) as my neurosurgeon.and he was very brash, cocky, and arrogant.and I was a complete mess physically and emotionally. But I will say this. I have never been taken care of even with all that "attitude " quite like I was then. Suuuure he came across brash.but I tell you what.he did impecable work and saved my life.and I will forever be in debted on so many levels to him and the staff.and to the Queen for my remaining days. I like to it as from start to finish. Queen I dont know much about how you guys are "today". I just know my experiences with you.and I TRULY want to thank you.

Look, I was born here, both my wife and I have family members who have worked here over 20 years. And even they can’t believe the bill I received. My son was born at the queen on September 12,2016, my wife was there for 36 hours before she was allowed to go home. Before insurance kicked in it was $17,000.00 which makes sense since it was essentially a surgery and she was there a total of 36 hours. I went in at 11pm on Sept. 16 2017 and left at 4am on sept. 17th I was there for 5 hours plus/ minus. No surgery, though I did get a cat scan on my torso, they also gave me (a patient with extreme kidney pain) dialodad, I had asked for something mild due to kidney pain, yet instead of giving me ibuprofen or something mild, I asked what the tech was adding to my saline solution, he said oh, it’s stronger than morphine. I said really? Why would they decide to give me that? As soon as I started feeling it, my kidneys felt worse than before, and I threw up everything left in my stomach, I had maybe 15-20 minutes with the doctor, a blood test, 2 blood cultures, a urinalysis and a cat scan, most of my stay was waiting on test results. I was told I could leave when they realized my enlarged organs were functioning correctly, and I was told I wouldn’t have to stay overnight. I had a couple weeks off, and then the fires came.and so did the most ludicrous bill I’ve ever seen. For my 5 hours, with no overnight stay, no surgery. They charged $24,000 before insurance kicked in. Heck I make maybe $42,000 a year, and I’m the only one working, I have a 1 year old son, a wife and a baby on the way. I now owe $3,500 our of pocket after insurance adjustments, along with another bill ($600) that will be arriving soon. Can you please justify this? How insane does this seem. Heck my friend who doesn’t have insurance broke their arm, had to have it set, and casted, and got a bill for less than $1,000 and they were there overnight. I asked the billing department why this was, their excuse. They cover almost 90% of non insured patients. So instead they burden/ punish the ones who pay thousands a year for I surance fkr their families. How Christian is this? Not very, obviously this hospital is a “for profit” hospital, which is not how it’s supposed to be. In my opinion, take down the crosses, and bible verses, and put pentagrams up instead. My bill is around 1/10th of what I make in a year. That’s an entire 6 week paycheck. And with loosing a lot of hours due to the fires, and being the only person in the household working, I honestly don’t know what to do. Nor do I feel comfortable paying something that insane, when my sons birth cost $7,000 less, and they were there for 31 hours longer than I was. Please go back to the Christian mentality, or fix your insanely ludicrous prices. I’m heartbroken this is what my childhood hospital has become.

Worst attention ever! The nurses a rude, the doctors are rude. I took my 2yo to the ER with abdominal pain and told them he had had surgery less than 2 weeks ago and that his tummy was hard it took them more than 90 min just to go look at him

Please avoid maternity center. Especually nurses are rude and unprofessional. You can't see a doctor on time.

I really liked my nurse when i was admitted. She was funny n didnt take forever doing things such as following up on phone calls with other hospital, or getting stuff for showers, etc.

The staff in labor and delivery is wonderful. However if your delivery nurse is a woman by the name of Mischa, ASK FOR ANOTHER NURSE. She is horrible, rude and dreadful. I would not wish the experience I had with her, upon my worst enemy. I hope by now the hospital has replaced her, however if not.pleas please please request a different nurse before you experience what I had too.

We were in Napa on vacation when my wife hurt her shoulder. We were treated very well in the ER and she was diagnosed, patched up and on her way in a couple of hours. The staff, nurses and doctors were really great. Thank you for the excellent care.

Terrible service in the ER, Nurses are very rude, today I brought my friend in and While she was in the ER I had to call the nurse because my friend started acting very wired the nurse was upset because I called her she said in a very rude manner that she was trying to put her information in the system but if she kept coming in and out the room she was not going to be able to do that. Firstable I did call call only one time and she was not in and out the room, second nurses are there to care for the sick if they are not happy or don't like what they do go somewhere else. It is very unfortunate that we have to deal with this kind of people.
