Quest Diagnostics reviews
18 I'm not sure if this is a nightclub or a medical facility I've been making appointments having to wait a week up to 10 days then you're not allowed to check in on the system but then when you check-in and you're still within the 10 minutes they still don't give you an appointment and then you get the staff who have a Friday night club attitude being extremely rude and unhelpful. One of the girls refused to even give me her name.
They discriminate you if you are a female, and if happen to be non-hispanic.
Their management and supervisor does not pick up the phone or respond for complaints this company doesn't have a proper e-mail to their headquarters to file complaints.
Update: was able to reach HQ members. When filing s complaint via email, make sure to request to talk to management within Quest, don't settle for the location manager to call. The complaint needs to be processed through higher management to investigate such cases otherwise nothing will change especially if your insurance only contacts with Quest labs, then you will be allowing them to mistreat you and other patients.
You must call your doctor before your appointment on the day of (they don’t keep it for more than 24 hours) to fax over your labs as they will not accept an email your doc sent you with labs included (I was turned away for this) making an appointment on your phone is the best way to schedule. And know your insurance network, not necessarily the name of insurance. Also the lady there stuck me incorrectly and I received some nerve damage and my arm still feels shocking pain when I move it too much
They were so mean and unaccommodating. I ended up walking out crying without having any blood drawn.
It is hard to imagine a ruder staff. The woman who helped me (well, that is the wrong phrase since she didn't help me until I blew up) almost had me in tears. I wish I had gotten her name, because honestly, she should not be working there. She seems to absolutely hate her job. Plus, the policies this particular Quest has in place for their customers are absolutely ridiculous. I watched customer after customer leave dejected, frustrated, and made to feel that their common sense was not worth anything. Myself included. I live close by so this place is convenient, but after today's experience, convenience does not trump rudeness. I will not be going back.
Dangerous. I went in to get labs for an important and urgent medication. The nurse said my insurance might not be in network anymore even though Quest had confirmed they were earlier. So I checked through the internet on my phone and the nurse repeatedly tried to kick me out saying I had to make another appt on a different day even though they accept walk-ins and NOBODY was there (& it would only take a few mins). When doing the test, in an act that seemed to be retaliation, she stabbed the needle in incorrectly and mangled the vein. I squealed in pain, she didn't even react. There was a bruise/scar on it for weeks. What is wrong with these people?
Judith was great, I had no issues obtaining an appointment. Arrived 15 minutes prior to my appointment, was seen a couple of minutes after the scheduled time, took less than 4 minutes to finish up. I don't understand the negative reviews.
The staff at front desk is rude and unhelpful. No customer service skills at all. The hispanic woman downright mean
First of all this location is very inconvenient because you have to pay for a crazy experience parking ticket and if you’re not familiar with the shopping center you must walk around and look for their sign. I am pregnant and took me some time to find a parking spot and walk to their unit. I was also late because there was an accident on 405, so I was late about 13 minutes. Checked in and the kiosk said that I will be seen as walk In. A tall heavy lady came out and yelled my name she took my name and phone number said they will let me know if they can see me until 4pm and it was 1: 30pm at that time. I sat down and she yelled again mam you can’t wait here, you have to wait in your car. There were only 2 people sitting in that large hall. So rude! And they have no number if you need to talk to a person.
The place is a nice and beautiful location but the staff is the most rude and unprofessional, I use these laboratories for many years and use a lot of locations but now was horrible. You need improvement customer service.
I’ve been here twice (should’ve been once). First time they charged me for everything and took all my necessary blood, including the purple top for a CBC but then didn’t actually run the CBC. Now I have to come back to get it done and they’re making it complicated and frustrating when all they need to do is take that vial and run the test they should’ve run to begin with. Furthermore, the demeanor of the staff is just insulting bad. I get that the hours are long and that the job is hard and dealing with people is complicated but that doesn’t excuse a lack of good customer service.
Please do not make appointments here! If I can put 0 star, absolutely I do! I make check-in and wait outside they never call me 10 minutes later. I went in to ask, and the answer was, " You lost the appointments. " they need better customer service, and have more empathy with the people, especially on this hard time plus we pay for the service is not free
DON'T GO HERE. I truly believe the 2 rude staff members (one of them named Yesenia) are booking the time slots online so they'll have less people coming in. There were very few slots available. I booked a time, went in and the screen showed an appointment for every 10 minutes but no one else was there. Yesenia has very poor bedside manner. I would fire her immediately. She never greeted, looked up, smiled, or introduced herself. I figure I should know your name before you take bodily fluids from me.
Bad customer service, bad people working in there and the check in device they use is broken, scanner missing plastic to place ID and they ask you to use anyway! Very recommend to go to a different location close by about 7 minutes away! And management should check the workers in this location because it's embarrassing for Quest Diagnostic!
This place is terrible. I just got the results of my biometric health screening test, and it seems that the nurse who input it all the information just use the weight on my driver's license as my current weight, which resulted in a high risk BMI. To add insult to injury, she also guessed my waist measurement-a full 6 inches over my actual waist measurement-which also resulted in a high risk result. Who are these unqualified people? Don't waste your time here.
I had an appointment and that doesn’t mean anything. They don’t give you any information or talk to you
I went there without appointment.they had no time for me, but they help me to get an appointment from s centinela location. They were so kind to me
Thank you quest
I can see why others have rated this place low. The lobby looks pretty sterile and the room echoes. It is actually hard to hear when they call your name. The staff seem to have a chip on their shoulder which usually means poor leadership. This place is unacceptable in my opinion. We pay so much money for a sub par experience- lab fees are quite steep at $850 a pop. I’d really like to see a cost breakdown of this business.
Getting bloodwork done is my #1 fear, but I was super impressed with the staff. They got me in and out very quickly and helped calm me down.
