It's great when you have an appointment and greatly recommend it. I waited for almost five hours without an appointment because I'd just had an appointment with my medical practitioner. Great experience with staff.

I got there earlier than expected for my appointment and they called me in right away. The staff were very helpful with people that were having a hard time with the check in tablet.

Its so hard to get an appointment. Not just at this location but pretty much at every nearby location.

I had an appointment at Quest for some blood work at the 1701 North Lombard Street location in Oxnard. My appointment was for 10: 00 AM. The text I received told me to arrive and check in 10 minutes before the appointment which I did. After I checked in I received a text to go into the waiting room. I had to wait in a crowded waiting room for 40 minutes to be seen.
They obviously don’t know what an appointment is for.
This place is totally mismanaged and understaffed. The staff is completely confused.
When I left the waiting room was still packed with patients waiting and had spilled outside.

Waited for over an hour after having to walk into the back to speak to someone. They have no one at the reception desk. Some people don't know how to use the kiosks and no one is there to help. If I could give no stars I would. Don't come here!

Usually I get great service in a timely manner, but not so lately. Last schedule appointment, they missed a couple of tests. This time (9/23) I had an appointment at 1340. I get there early and checked in. I was on my phone for a while and then noticed it was 1410. A lady came out and announced that they are starting on the 1300 appointments. I had been fasting and had another appointment 20 miles away at 1450 so I left. I get a text to write a review and I did. It was on their site on Friday and somehow not on Monday. So the 1 star is deserved and will no longer be returning. My advice is to have more than 2 Phlebotomist at this station. They are overwhelmed and underpaid. Good luck everyone.

3 stars because I hate that Quest is a monopoly, and no longer takes ANY walk-ins. ALSO-The GPS is misdirected for this address. Clicking on the address & GPS directions from their email confirmation or notification, will lead you to the wrong side of the parking lot & the wrong bldg.
The address 1701 Lombard is to your LEFT, once you’ve entered from Lombard, NOT to the right like the GPS shows. The medical building on the right side of the parking lot actually has a sign on their door, redirecting people. Mind you, you have to walk around the whole bldg to see that sign, and by then you’re probably close to being late! This mistaken address has a picture of the parking lot, showing a red arrow pin on a location across the other side of the parking lot, to another bldg. This must happen so often that they put up a sign, redirecting people!
In this regard, had I not blindly trusted the GPS imagery and verbal directions, and just looked for address numbers on bldg’s, I may have found it faster, if the trees weren’t blocking the address above the bldg quite a bit. It was frustrating, so hopefully this will help people save their time, energy & sanity!

DIRECTIONS: Turning onto Lombard St from Gonzalez Rd, turn right into the parking lot. GPS will show a picture leading to the bldg on the right, closest to you, but don’t follow it. Instead, turn left towards the bldg on the farthest side of the parking lot. Quest is located on the farthest side of that bldg that doesn’t face Lombard, or the other bldg.

I was late for my appointment because of this GPS error, and Quest’s new sign in kiosk won’t acknowledge you if you’re more than 10 minutes late. I imagine a lot of people run into this glitch with the GPS. It’s very busy here, at least 8 people waiting in the waiting room. I can’t judge them until I return tomorrow, as far as their services, but I’ll update then.

Worst service ever. Used their system to check in for my appointment and chose option to wait outside. Got the text to come in and was told to sit down and wait. Told them I would be outside. After watching several patients go in and get bloodwork asked them why my name wasn't showing on the list. Heavy set lady at the front said I called your name I'm not going to go looking for you. After all that she said my paperwork wasn't correct and I needed to have the doctor fix it. Asked if they could call my doctors office and she refused. I will never be returning to this location and if I have a similar experience at another location I will stop using quest all together.

I went to walk in at 10 am only one other person and I was turned away telling me no walk ins and said I had to go to 7th street which was a complete nightmare

Really rude employees. Take your business somewhere else where the employees have customer service skills

I'm sure everyone deals with blood work differently. If your like me with rolling veins then you probably get anxious when your appointment is up. The first appointment this year I had a tech who has an amazing personality and a skill that is priceless. She must be one of the youngest in the group but her confidence not only puts you ease but gets the job done first try. Today my experience with another tech wasnt pleasant. She poked me in both arms and was digging. Then she said she will get someone else. I remembered Melody. I switched rooms and guess what, Melody was able to strike on the first try again. I'm very thankful and grateful. 5 stars is because of her. Thank you Melody! I hope you presue your career but please stay part time lol.
5-14-21 Today I had a great experience with Maribel and Rose. Please ask for them! They were very welcoming and comforting. I've been blessed to have these techs since my veins are suck a challenge. Thank you team!

Had to come fix billing info three times because their system and workers are overly stressed. Marissa meza is a poor worker who has a lot of retraining to do and kelsi, although she tried to make a rough situation better; she failed. She doesn’t know customer service as well as she thinks. I had ricky on the phone of course trying to assuage the situation. Ricky Lim is the supervisor. Wouldn’t let me get a word in edgewise. But of course this is not without having to go back in because the business card given to me was with a wrong phone number. Why isn’t there a supervisor on site? These inexperienced low-level associates can’t run a business. I’ve been a phlebotomist myself, with management experience and in a clinical lab setting to boot, so I have some kind of credibility. These people are used to pleading for forgiveness instead of asking for permission. Kelsi was nice, til I took too much of her time. Then she turned into just as much a dismissive beast as Marissa. These people are courteous until it no longer suites their need. Marissa is overly stressed and can’t handle a stressed patient, she lashed out and ended up yelling at me (we’ve interacted in the past where she was just as rude, but this time took the cake when she yelled at the top of her lungs through her two surgical masks and a face shield). Kelsi took me in the back, tried making it better. She’s good at her job, at least while in the presence of accountability. She was nice til she wasn’t, like after ricky was no longer on the phone on speaker in the room to hear a conversation. Once it was just her and I, she was as in-genuine and in-sincere as Marissa. This place needs to be put under a scope for performance issues. If the BBB is reading this, if lab adjudicators, CLIA, are looking to check on a site for efficiency and ethical training, this is a place that could use some.
Where is their office manager? Do they have one at this location? Someone needs to be here to run things because obviously whoever is doing it now is doing a bad job.

The Quest Lab personal were great. We showed up late because I left home without my phone so I drove around until I was able to obtain their address. After getting checked in we were given a visible indicator that we had been screened. Unfortunately, the doctor had not faxed the medical lab orders to any Quest site. The doctor’s staff were unable to locate the orders from our Zoom visit. After 20 minutes trying to locate the orders we canceled this lab visit. We were treated with great respect and never felt we were wasting their time. We will use this lab again.

They don't care enough to put on their recording that Saturday is my appointment only. They would rather waste our time
