Quest Diagnostics, North Hollywood CA

Very sad experience.the staff was insensitive and not friendly. The nutritionist told me to get tested, but they are not covered by insurance and I wanted to pay cash for them, which is a couple of thousand dollars.but they refused to place my order, saying that I had to do it myself online.but unfortunately, I don’t understand the test names in the abbreviation and I can’t figure it out on my own.but they didn’t offer me help, they just refused me. This is how people behave who are not worried about the company’s reputation and lost profits. I’ll never come to the Quest again, but I’ll go do these tests in the Lab Corb.

Pretty typical quest diagnostics / lab corp experience. The wait was 35 minutes from my appointment time. Bring a book and wear a mask, waiting room is small and crowded.

Staff was nice and professional

Cannot get any live person on the phone to answer basic questions.totally lacking the reassurance to rely on this place for any service at all.

I had the misfortune of going to Quest in North Hollywood for a blood test today. I made an appointment online. Arrived on time. Checked in on their electronic system. There is no receptionist or anyone to help or answer questions. After not being called for awhile. I saw that there was a tv screen with the names of people who were checked in and my name was not on it. The only chance to talk to someone is when they open the door to let someone in. You have to try to quickly grab their attention before they close the door on you, rather than ignore you. When I was finally able to ask someone about my situation before they could close the door on me, they were rude and unhelpful. They said they'd look and check with me but never came back. I finally had a chance to ask a second person, who was not as rude. But she was no help either. So I wasted an hour at this Quest location, without getting the blood test for which I had made an appointment and timely showed up and checked in. Finally, the place was so dirty that I cannot say I have much confidence in the quality of care I would have received anyway.

They are the worst at this location! Very unhelpful, terrible service, horrible for an older person to get any help at all… It was ridiculous! Stay away at all cost in less you want a maddening experience!

All the ladies in the office were lovely. Just remember to wear a mask and I’d suggest making an early morning appt if you’re pressed for time. Right when they open at 8. I was in and out.

All the negative reviews are about delays and waiting times with appointments and they do take walk-ins so there’s always going to be a chance that’s there’s a wait.

Becareful when coming here because you will be discriminated against if you have a disability. Especially autism, Mrs Johanna P thinks it’s appropriate to shame an autistic person in front of a waiting room full of people for stimming even after she had been warned previously. I even tried to be reasonable and offer to wait in the car and was told no. Then still attempts to try to scare you off with “refusing service” to a 3 year old because of how he’s behaving. Educate your ignorant staff on how to treat disabled people. This place is trash until she leaves. People beware you can report any one to the medical board and LFS. Hold them accountable.

1. You can not reach life person for instructions over the phone
2. Walk-in people are NOT welcome! Since you can be turned away.
3. Do not be fooled thinking you can just drop something of. They make you sign in and wait in line as a stand by and Unless you argue your way through it can be a long wait

My wife had an appointment and at check in they didn't have her name listed. The digital check in was confusing and didn't scan her drivers license. Overall terrible experience, and no one available to help. Another client tried to help to no avail. Avoid this place like the plague.

I made an appointment in advance, arrived a bit early, and was seen on time. The phlebotomist who drew my blood was so gentle that I barely felt the needle! She was very friendly and prompt with her service.

FYI I do not recommend that you come WITHOUT an appointment. From what I gathered while in the waiting room, they're usually too booked. And consiedering California labor laws, I'm sure they have no choice but to close before OT takes effect.

Horrible place to go for lab tests. They run late won’t let you see a manager won’t tell you if you are on a list to be called. They cancel your appointment 1 minute after you arrive after your appointment time. They are rude, not respectful, won’t speak with you.

They keep denying me as a walk in 2 days in a row. The website says walk ins welcome and is posted in their door. Once their they they tell you they don't take walk ins. They need to change this so people won't waste their time coming here.

This place is the worst. So slow. You can’t even drop something off without waiting hours. With an appointment you’ll be lucky to be seen an hour late. Just ridiculous.

Horrible service. Had an appointment and I had to wait 40 min to ENTER the room. Don’t waste your time!

Ofelia (Ophelia?) was HORRIBLE! I have to get pretty frequent blood draws these days, so they don’t typically bother me. But Ofelia stabbed me like she was angry and taking it out on me; I can’t remember the last time a blood draw hurt so much. In addition, she was rude and curt, and did NOT sanitize her hands after removing her old gloves and putting on the ones for me; she then touched a bunch of stuff with the “clean” gloves before drawing my blood.

While Quest is really wonderful for getting appointments quickly, if I get her when I go back the next time, I will absolutely refuse to let her treat me.

Horribly unprofessional and slow. You make an appointment and they do not honor the time the staff does not speak English well you can't understand them with the broken English. There was very lax sterility procedures for the blood draw. Prior to me saying something they actually tried to remove the finger tip from her glove to touch me with the bare finger vs through the glove. Thus why even wear a glove? Rude unhelpful and truly not for patients
