10 I came here at 3: 00PM to drop off my lab orders and make an appointment. I did not expect to be seen today. They were already closed. Lights off, door locked. Wasted my time and gas!
My lab orders, according to my doctor, needed to be presented before making an appointment because I didn't use their in-house lab. So, now I have to try again but this time I will go to the La Mesa one, which is much better anyway.
Came here two weeks ago and I’m still bruised. I told the tech that I don’t do well with needles and I might pass out, I asked her not to “fish” the needle around but she did the whole time and I told her she needed to stop she said okay okay but then fished around again so I told her to pull it out, I was done and about to pass out. Nobody around to help reschedule either. I never had issues at the Poway location so I definitely will be going there instead of this one. 100% don’t recommend.
Make an appointment, and you will get right in. If you don't have an appointment, it could take an hour to get in.
They, (2 techs), stuck me 4 times and got no blood. Also, they tried fishing around each time they couldn't find the vein causing a lot of pain. Said they couldn't help me and sent me to another Quest. They do not seem trained well enough to do the job. I won't be trying Quest again.
I must give blood regularly tracking my anemia. I've only ever used this location with my appointments but each time I've ever come, I've waited no less than 30 minutes to be called. And while staff is kind once you're called in, they have terribly poor customer service skills. They
have no understanding of the frustration of their patients and tend to escalate tensions instead of deescalating them. I think a good old-fashioned training in customer service is definitely the order of the day.
Make sure you make an appointment. When I was there today 19 people were waiting in case someone didn't show. They were told at least two+ hour wait. I had appointment and was brought right in. Don't waste your time unless you have an appointment.
I'm here dropping off a specimen for my child. I've never met such rude people who work in the medical field or customer service. Ridiculous.
The worst quest diagnostic service in all San Diego they make all quest diagnostic locations look bad
. The nurse Laura was rude she had me call my insurance I wrote down it showed her and she made sure I hung up then said with the most joy! No I need the numbers I had to wait a hour with appt and I checked in 10 mins before I have cancer Laura you're full of disrespect and games Freddy Flintstone or Daffy duck would be a better lobotamist than you you should quit Laura the public and elderly and sick do not need you. Laura you should be ashamed of yourself!
Some people on here are upset because they don’t understand how the lab diagnostic system works. I can tell you as a healthcare employee that this Quest location was as nice as can be. My appointment was at 3 and they took me instantly with no wait at 2: 25. Awesome!
Fay helped me and was so nice. It was my first time at this location, or any California location since I moved from Colorado. She helped me find all three of my labs which were important as I need all three of these labs regularly due to my health condition. She was kind, polite, professional and a great phlebotomist! I will be coming back for my next set of labs in 3 months! Thank you Fay!
There always all over the place and always late they told me make appointments I did but there still don’t know what there doing with appointments very unprofessional and talk behind patients
