R-Ranch In The Sequoias, Kernville CA

I have been an Owner at R-Ranch in the Sequoias for over 30 years. It is my go to place. Gorgeous property, horses, hiking, dancing, lounging by the pool... It is my favorite place to go and chill and be one with nature and lots of great people.

I've been an owner since I was a kid. It's not perfect and not for everyone, but if you are looking for a getaway for your family this is a great place to do it. Hiking trails, private lake, horse back riding. All of this and more is included without having to pay extra while here. I vacation other places from time to time, and never like having to pay extra for this that and the other thing.

If you are looking for a digital break for your family and an opportunity to help build character in your kids this is a great place to explore. Quiet, friendly, and consistent. Over time it will become like returning home when you visit. You'll literally own a piece of a whole small town.

It was a awesome place. Beautiful scenes and so relaxing, and everyone was so helpful and friendly. Unit cabins were very clean. I encourage every one to visit and invest as a share holder.

A great getaway in the mountains that really takes you away form it all. Try kayaking or horseback riding, or just a simple hike. It's all here to be enjoyed!

Love going to R-Ranch to get away from the busy life. A great place to use as a base camp to go out and explore the Sequoia Nat'l Forest. A short drive to the Trail of 100 Giants Sequoia Grove and to the North Fork of the Kern River. Not as many activities to do at the Ranch due to COVID - adult and teen centers are closed, and the pool has limited hours. WiFi is still available outside the adult center. Fishing and canoeing on the lake is fun.

My Family and I love R-Ranch. My Sister and Brother in law are owners and we love to come as a family to camp. Its a beautiful place and we love the activities they have available for us to attend.

Got the opportunity to spend a few days up at this Ranch and it was the best time. The entire staff is so friendly, the cabin we stayed in was great. Nice kitchen, bed was comfy, living room was nice. Now the Ranch itself. Great little general store, adult room with TV, WiFi, books, pool table, etc. Youth room with video games! They also have a dance hall, which had a great country artist (Annie Brobst) on Saturday night. They also have a ton of activities. I had a great time and hope to go back someday. So peaceful and fun at e same time.

Beautiful scenery. Has a little lake and picnics benches. It is private property which I didn't know untill I arrived. Lovely drive as well.

I have been an owner for thirty years, and I love this place, from the horseback rides to all of the holiday activities, there is always something to do, or just enjoy the peace and quiet, because there are no cell towers.

Management is in disarray! Employees most have absolutely no experience at all. Mgt. Priorities are all over the place. If you doubt me ask to tour Employee Housing it should all be Condemned!

My cabin was adorable, with two bedrooms and a sizable kitchen. My first morning walking outside in the morning met with a group of deer calmly grazing about 20ft away. The little general store had everything I could need during my stay. All in all, 5 stars. Very pleased.
