R Tillery Powersports reviews
16 The time was 8: 30 pm. Exhausted from a full day of riding and learning, I was stranded at the illustrious Chevron Bakersfield, about 16 Miles outside of Buttonwillow Raceway Park, where I would not return for day 2 of Champschool (very expensive) due to a tire puncture. My wife called all the shops in the area multiple times and Scott was the only one who answered. It was his day off.
That night, he opened R. Tillery Powersports just for me, my wife and the AAA guy transporting my bike. In the course of 40 minutes, he changed both my tires for an unbeatable price and shared some heart-rending stories of personal heroism, all with a smile and energy no sane human should have at 10pm on a weekday. Thanks to him, I was able to continue my pursuit of mastery over the death machine the next day.
This and other exploits make Scott a routine local hero. He's the nicest master mechanic you will ever meet, and a risk-taker with a passion for justice. And he takes tips ;)
Very experienced and knowledgeable on motorcycles great service great price Scott keep it up
Excellent work and customer service. Scott knows his stuff. Will be my go-to shop in Bakersfield for anything I can't/won't do myself!
Best place to bring any of your two wheeled companions! Best service! Best prices! Best quality work done by Scott and his crew!
They were more than helpful.
Very friendly and knowledgeable.
I will be going back!
Brea and Scott are amazing people and Scott is hands down one of the only mechanics I've ever dealt with that I trust. I was on a 3500 mile trip, maybe more with a lot of gear on my yamaha v star 1100 and some junkie decided to stab both of my tires on my bike. Scott took me into his own home like family after quickly realizing that my sleeping gear was attached to my motorcycle. He fed me dinner and gave me a safe place to rest my head. I've never met anyone quite like these two and 2 years later I still think of them and my experience quite often. If I am ever west of the Rockies, hands down I'll make the drive to get my bikes to this shop regardless of how far I am. Amazing people. Quality honest work. Fair pricing, and all and all just an amazing experience.
Scott is great! First time I walked in he immediately invited me into the shop to talk. Hes kind and friendly and on top of it! Got my tire ordered in asap. His shop made me feel more like an old friend than a customer. Im super grateful I found his shop!
Best bike shop hands down for over 100 miles very reasonable rates great stock super friendly and legendary expert service.
Originally recommended by another shop owner, Scott is honest, and knows how to diagnose/repair everything I have ever brought to him. And he's a beast on a mountain bike, the true measure of a man.
I needed to lower my Busa and Scott did an extraordinary job. If you need anything done RTillery is the place to go. The workmanship here is outstanding. Scott and his family there are just the best people around.
Great prices and quality work. Scott is a great guy and always gets the job done in a timely manner. I highly recommend this shop if you need any work done on your motorcycle.
Great pricing and quick service for sure, also very friendly service provided. I came here needing to replace my rear tire ended up needing to replace my sprocket also which had horrible teeth all damaged, and they were able to help me out same day thankfully because I’m from out of town and visiting a friend. But I will for sure recommend and definitely be a returning customer to this shop 100% Thank you guys once again you definitely came in clutch when I needed the help, much appreciated
@4: 45 p.m. Brought both wheels & had my own tires, and they were changed immediately. Staff helped me unload tires & wheels. When done brought wheels to my car & put them in trunk for me. I didn't even ask for them to balance the wheels & they were done in 10 mins. Cycle gear wanted $50 for 1 wheel cause I had my own tires, fuk tht! More than fair pricing, put it this way, paid less for 2 wheels than 1 from CG. Pay cash so they don't get taxed from CC COMPANY & they will take care of u. Support locally owned businesses.
Thank you Scott & staff,
Robert
Scott has always done me right. Knowledgeable, friendly and reasonably priced. Sometimes I have no choice but to take the Harley elsewhere but the dirtbikes will always go there.
Great information from Scott, I will be doing Business with them in the future.and recommend them to everyone I know!

I approached Scott on 2/20/2021 about installing a quickshifter on my bike, and he quoted me "around $500.00, " and told me to bring it the coming Thursday night so he could work on it the next day. That sounded a bit steep considering I already had the quickshifter, so I informed him someone else was willing to do it for half that, and thanked him for his time. When my alternate fell through, I reached out to Scott via email to ask if he would like to go ahead with the job. He did not respond, so I called the shop, and the lady who answered informed me that Scott was no longer interested in helping me out. Why? Because I was hoping to save a buck through someone else? Watch out for this one. Not professional at all.
