Beer Hall Radhaus reviews
16Buzzy modernist atmosphere with mediocre food. The pretzel was good (difficult not to), but the sausage and schnitzel were disappointing. I may return to try the currywurst and 1L beer glasses, but not in a hurry. Similar quality to Suppenkuche. If on the weekend, definitely arrive early to put your name on the list and expect to wait 30+ mins.
It was so loud. You can't hear a thing over the cacophony. Food was decent but overpriced.
We only had beers but these are some stellar beers. Can be tough to find places that execute classic style beers, these people know how to do classic beer without tons of extras, which are often there to hide bad basic beer flavors.
We had marzen, swarzbier, pilsner, and festbiers. All great
Jagerschnitzel wasn't good at all, tough and dry, and the potato pancakes were worse. Beer was ok.
The food is good, stuff is good, the interior acoustic is terrible and super noisy, and you have to yell.
Their beet salmon was amazing! Easy parking and fast service with a great view of the harbor. Would definitely come back
If you wander around the waterfront in San Francisco and would like to eat some German/Central European food, Radhaus is totally recommended. Their bratwursts, currywurst, döner kebap, schnitzels etc and the selection of different German beers will bring you culinarily all the way to Europe. If you manage to sit at the window, you'll also complete the experience with amazing views over the Golden Gate Bridge.
Radhaus is my favorite restaurant in San Francisco. The concept is beautiful simplicity: a German beer hall with simple biergarten fare executed to the highest level of excellence and quality, and a fantastic selection of beers on tap. It’s a big open space with indoor and outdoor seating, family friendly, tucked away from any busy streets inside Fort Mason but yet easily accessible. A beautiful minimalist design aesthetic, with huge tall west facing windows offering sweeping views of the Golden Gate bridge and the Marina as the sun goes down. The staff are all kind and attentive, including the servers Adina and Kalan, among others, as well as the GM Pamela. On one of our recent visits we were entertained by a full orchestra dressed in lederhosen playing the Lion King in full splendor, my 4 year old son loved it, while I enjoyed my Weihenstephaner. Truly a magical place.
Bratwurst & Currywurst was awesome, very friendly and service was pretty fast! Love the outdoor seating where I can enjoy my meal with my fur babies!
Open, Airy German style beer hall with food. Really good selection of *only* German style beers. Friendly staff, good vibes. Amazing scenery out the big windows
Yum. Good beer, good food, great location, nice people. For a group of people, I recommend ordering the bratwurst plate, and then adding one bratwurst per person, then additionally, order some sides and the käsespätzle.
It was very noisy inside, but the food was fantastic. Service was a little slow, but I contribute that to it being so busy. We had to wait about 15 mins to be seated.
There was Oktoberfest beer to match the Oktoberfest in Munich.
Jägerschnitzel and Käsespatzen are highly recommended.
Very nice atmosphere in the style of a brewery.
Cute place to grab a quick bite and some beer. Chicken schnitzel sandwich was pretty great, fries were ok.
Food here is pretty good, most notable the bratwurst. Bummed that a menu item wasn't there for us to try.
Bright and airy, great views of the Golden Gate Bridge, excellent food, and a fun beer selection.
