We need more transparency on how much things cost and more competition for medical centers and the health care system. It’s poor workmanship, hardly any true professionals there, and how they manage the place also there’s no one is in charge.

My youngest son was underdosed on antibiotics lengthening his ear infection to an entire month. They’ve repeatedly made specialist appointments for my oldest son in San Diego and told us it was in Murrieta. Then They rescheduled the appointments to at least a month out and did it all with a straight face.

This morning my oldest goes in for a specialist appointment in Murrieta. Which mind you they messed up the scheduling again to San Diego and had to reschedule us for this. My son coughed a single time in the waiting room and they told me he can’t come in due to strict policy and kindly rescheduled us to April 5th. Again with a straight face. Oh but the nice lady offered us a call for any cancellations and the look on her face led me to believe she genuinely thought it was a great solution and figured she was helping us. She also kept asking how I feel. Have a good one Radys, I’m a business owner in the area that networks heavily with other businesses in the local area. I’ll make sure to refer you guys appropriately.

I can’t stand when Drs. Are so inconsiderate of people’s time. They are so brazen as to have a chart showing how late the Drs.are that day. Fix the problem, and schedule appropriately, The patients time is just as important as the Dr’s.

Went to Ent department to see Dr. Friesen
Staff is beyond rude and gives you the worst attitude! If you can get San Diego location please do! This staff is highly unprofessional! You can’t even ask a question without them cutting you off, and talking over you!

Their hours are wrong, also, don't get there early.

They say they open at 8, but that's not the case. They open at 8: 30, and the doors are electronically locked until then. They will NOT come down to open the doors for you, even though they tell you to get there before your appointment and that's impossible.

They expect their patients to be on time and keep their appointments, but they KNOWINGLY make appointments they can't keep and then won't do anything to keep them. Completely unacceptable.

Rady’s has closed all of their satellite locations, so I drove down from Temecula for the first available appointment only to find out when I arrived that Dr. J Gomez Arostegui had already left for the day. No call or message from the office staff. I was told I had to reschedule.

This site is terrible, over two hour waiting for a confirmed appointment though had a it booked from 20 days advance, when I asked from a lady in the front desk she in a rude manner answered " we are 15 mint running behind" than I said it is more than one & half hour that I and my little one who tired of long waiting and crying, we sat here than she said you have to wait if you want.following a nurse called us and took us to a room and she said wait for a few minutes doctor will come, we waited in the room for another 55 minutes.
I dont know why they didnt call us while they were running late for two hours and 10 minutes?

I would not leave your child alone in NICU! My daughter had an emergency C-Section and my Grand Baby went to the NICU. My daughter made it clear she did not want any vaccines for the baby and when she finally got to see the baby she had a band aid on her thigh. She was extremely upset! We have a family member that had a vaccine injury and this is horrible. She got the medical records and they gave the baby Hep B, Eye Ointment and Vitamin K shot. What did they not understand that we don’t want any vaccines! Do NOT leave your child unattended!

This place is awful! Not a place I want my child going! Wait time to get an appointment is months! Drs were rude, sarcastic, arrogant, and unprofessional. They don’t wear gloves either. Gross! They repeat tests that have already been done. Not good with children at all. They don’t listen to their patients needs. Will not be going here again.
*This was a review for the dermatology department.
*The ob ultrasound department was also awful except for the technician was awesome! The Dr.just tries using scare tactics to have you do more unnecessary testing for money.

My daughter has been a patient of Rady's children's hospital for quite some time. We really like all of the staff with the exception of the audiologist. We have been seeing her for about 2 years now, and we haven't had any progress. From the beginning she turned up our daughter way too loud to the point where she was left traumatized. From then on we had a very hard time having her keep her Cochlear implants on. Due to Corona we lost a lot of time. Once we were able to do in-person visits we started up again, and again the implants were turned up too loud to the point where my daughter couldn't wear them. Finally after months of going through this the audiologist finally decided to lower the volume and start slowly. My daughter is finally able to wear her Kansos and hopefully we can start seeing some reaction soon, but we will be looking for a new provider that can better meet our needs. Highly encourage any new families seeking an audiologist to stay clear out of Murietta location.

Took my child for consultation and 1 hour after waiting the nurse came out and inform all of us waiting that the Dr wasn’t taking anyone else and that we would have to es schedule. This place is a joke and should not be affiliated to Children’s San Diego.

Doctor and back office CMA were so kind and knowledgeable. Now the front office on the specialty side are rude. Working on a children’s specialty office you should understand parents are coming in worried and stressed. You should have a sweet and kind nature. The girl who checked me in was very curt and it was like I was bothering her. After I was checked in the next mother in line actually called the woman out on her rudeness. I heard her raise her voice and ask her if this was because of the pandemic or what because you said that in a rude tone. I know it wasn’t me imagining her rude behavior. Check out was worse. The lady there would not make me an appt saying I needed authorization. I have a PPO it literally says on the card no referral necessary. Which is what the CMA told me when she said to make the appt before leaving. She was very rude and told me I was wrong and I needed auth which would take 7-10 days even after I told her I didn’t need an auth for the first visit then the check in lady backed her up and said “Nope” while rolling her eyes. On my way out the door she said “Have a good day” in a condescending voice. I had to call the San Diego location to get scheduled. But guess what? I didn’t need an auth. If my son didn’t need their specialists I would look elsewhere. They must enjoy upsetting worried parents of sick children, they loved teaming up on me. Seemed like it was their thing to do.

My sons doctor gave us a referral to see the Cardiologist here, I called to schedule an appointment but when I did they said they received the referral but they have not processed it yet so they couldn't make an appointment until they did. I asked for an ETA on how long that typically takes, but the lady on the phone said she doesn't know or couldn't tell me, but said they would call us to schedule an appointment as soon as they do. It has now been a week since then and we have gotten no calls on when we can schedule the appointment. So I am simply going to take my son somewhere else to a place that actually cares about their patients and I suggest you might want to do the same with your children.

Took my 2 year old for an audiology appointment, so he can get speech therapy & an autism evaluation & they wouldn’t see him because he won’t wear a mask. He’s only 2, is possibly autistic, possibly has a hearing issue & doesn’t understand covid or why he has to wear a mask. When I had an issue with this rule, the receptionist for the behavioral development department told me “Well you should’ve scheduled before he turned 2”. WHAT? It’s a referral that has been put in since July (before he turned 2 in September), but Rady’s dragged their feet for months & we weren’t able to get in. Horrible service. Avoid this place at all costs. The San Diego Hospital is much better & worth the drive.

Beware of the deceptive billing practices of Rady Children's Hospital. My son was treated for a broken right arm and radiology charged one price (about $250.00) for 2 x-ray images of his arm, on 2 different occasions. The doctor wanted to ensure that the growth plate was not impacted so 6 months later he did 2 x-ray images with both arms for a comparison. Same number of x-rays but with both arms included instead of just his right arm. We were charged double for the same number of x-rays because both arms were included in the x-ray. My appeal was denied and I had to pay double. I feel like I was exploited by a loophole in the billing process but they didn't care just want to collect.
